It's not just bungie .. it's pretty much any PvP in any game . It's brings out the worst in people .. I've made life long friends on the PVE side .. But it's absolutely mind numbing how absolutely horrible a person can be to another person, over a digital reward .. something that is absolutely worthless in the real world .. makes you wonder how these people treat thier friends and family.. You would assume that if they will exploit , cheat or hack in a video game, they do the same to people in real world .. Now days if I run into other gamers , I don't trust them at all, because they are the IRL of this community here

It's very simple. They've created a meta that allows expert PvP players to abuse weak ones. And to ensure a steady supply of victims for said experts, they create bounties and quest steps that force players into the Crucible, whether they want to play it or not.

I was to the point to where I figured things couldn't get any worse with Destiny 2 then they made me do crucible again. The lag in there is worse than the rest of the game. I thought things had started getting bad and teleporting around in the rest of the game but those are good compared to crucible. I mean seriously doing gambit them the hydra teleports or the ogre teleports. Last I checked they weren't supposed to do that. Well I have been seeing it and asked others and sure enough they have also. Now we go into crucible and OMG the first guy I see is bouncing up down up down but not jumping bounce then he bounces into a wall and stays there for about 5 seconds then goes through the wall I thought I was seeing things then heard my friend say what in the. I then knew it wasn't just me. The next match go in have 3 of us shooting one guy his health is not dropping my friend says ummmm I am hitting you and I said same here then the 3rd guy starts meleeing him then we all die and he runs away with full health WTF. I actually recorded one but after several matches having basically the same thing I said there is no point in recording all of this as it is just plain broken and needs fixed and my friend said he agreed and said this kind of crap is why he hasn't been playing D2 and then hasn't been on since either.

I normally don't say this. When I read the word (again and garbage) I started thinking to myself that if you think PvP is garbage and I'm taking that as you don't like playing PvP at all because that is usually what that means. Why keep playing? This is not a sarcastic question. I'm being serious, why do gamers come on this forum constantly say PvP is garbage but they keep playing? Now, I know I talk about the game a lot, but there is not one single thing in this game that is garbage, meaning there is always room for improvement. Not that Bungie focuses on that, that much but there is room for improvement. So I'm going to say this. PvP is not "garbage" it's just the sandbox is the wrong sandbox for this game. Find a team that is willing to play their own game and actually is willing to use the data with that chart they made, that they said has all that info about everything in the game. PvP could be a hell of a lot better off without the current sandbox and that is a fact.

Loved pvp in D1. That is, until they changed matchmaking to try and control the results. Destiny 2 has just never been the same. They need to change the meta up much more often, we've been in the season of the hand cannon for 7 seasons now.

Just a thought but I have some ideas of how to improve pvp ( not necessarily my original ideas, just a group of inputs) 1. Make teams have a skill multiplier - the more people on that team, the greater their ranking and the harder the opponents they face - reduces chance of facing full teams at the same individual skill level 2. Make competitive playlist affect casual rankings more - reduces chance of facing Luna/ nf when you rarely step into comp - makes it so Luna/nf users have higher chance of facing others with said weapons 3. Make energy loss when swiping with spectral blades greater - reduces spamming of move - reduces duration 4. Choose people for matches/teams that are around the same ranking instead of choosing teams based on the average - reduces chance of having few people that are doing much better than others in match - increases rate of player skill increase - players will gradually get better when facing slightly better opponents - allows players to put in large amounts of effort and feel like they have a chance of winning - the better you are, the better everyone in the match is 5. Add PSN and Xbox pools together - increases player pool for each skill level - allows friends in different platforms to play with each other 6. Make Shaxx or Saladin have some encouragement if you are not getting kills/assists very often - helps less skilled players gain some confidence - general pick-me-up - not necessary but definitely helpful
