Nothing in a video game is more important than simply having fun. With that said, I used to mess with these people for entertainment. See somebody that looks like they are going to be afk? I make some forward progress just to make sure they aren't simply swapping out gear, dropping Boons or Medallions, etc... and then playing 'catch-up' to get back with me (I have no issue with that happening :) ). If I still see they have not moved, I'll hang out and have dance parties in front of them, go off into some other area of the map or go ahead and continue into the Strike... S l o w l y. Slowly drag them all the way to the boss and then do everything I can to put minimal damage on the boss. I'll drag the thing out as long as I possibly can and still have fun. The occasional salty message I would get from them would only add to the entertainment value of the shenanigans. I'd probably still handle it this way, but it's been a long time since I had an afk'er in a strike.

 • Last thing I would want to do Is play a strike I’ve played to death, SLOOOOOWLY. While you’re trying to teach the kid a lesson, he’s eating microwave meatloaf with his mom and playing parcheesi in the other room.

 • A lot of us have played the majority of the activities many, many times. ;) If I felt like I had 'run Strikes to death' I wouldn't be doing them at all. It's not necessarily about teaching them a lesson, it's about the entertainment value I get out of doing what I do. If I can screw with somebody like that, it can also keep them from jacking up other players runs while I have them captive in my lengthy run. :) It can also be a good opportunity to go a different direction on the map (or, as stated, continue forward) and play with a variety of weapons, rotate through Supers, etc...). The 'rubber band' players? Yeah, they could set it up that way and then go to work (or go eat the meatloaf, play board games and watch Frozen for the umpteenth time). Nothing can really be done about those tools. It's the ones that fire up the strike list, set their controller for some form of movement then fire up some Netflix or Hulu on the pc and watch movies while glancing at the screen they are pretending to run Strikes on. THOSE are the ones that send salt for the popcorn. :)
