Give Malfeasance a slight Buff

Give malfeasance a buff that kills proc an explosion bigger than the current one. especially on taken.   • Needs a range buff to compete with Ace/Crimson/Thorn.

  • Small buff? Make it EXOTIC. Destroy taken link immunity. Travel the little slugs down the line and have them stack to shatter the connected foes: Or have it over penetrate the taken shields or wipe the taken shield bubbles. There are a trillion things you could implement without breaking pvp.

    • Malfeasance is way better than Thorn, at least it has that. I'm 12% in on the crucible part of the quest and two of my friends who have Thorn are telling me not to bother, just get it as you go don't grind for it as you will be very, very disappointed, they are scratching their heads over the quest grind compared to the reward, one of them said it's like chasing and getting the woman you want only to find out a wank is better, and that is f*cking harsh, especially if it's true. Any body here got an opinion?

        • Catalyst ; Blight Maker - Soul Breaker, Life Taker, Spacejebus Cant help you now. give it the ability to combine all 15 Shots in a charged up F*CK YOU beam of Ultradarkness and Blight as you stand in a Lane Crossmapping people with a Handcannon. those that don't die from this, are severely staggered and movement restricted. then finishing off the survivors with melee, that grants you super energy and fills all your ammunition, and grants an overshield. Also, those that die from this blast are marked for 5 minutes and take 205% more damage from you.

        • Malfeasance doesn’t seem complete to me, like it’s missing a catalyst. Explosions on 3rd hit instead of the 5th, aye.

          • The only change I would make, and one I hope is the Masterwork, is change the "deal bonus damage to Invaders" to "deal bonus damage to enemy Guardians".

            • For the amount of work it takes, not to mention the rng of even starting the quest in the first place, it definitely needs a buff for pve. More intrinsic Taken negating abilities would be a start.

              • Yep, need little bit more impact and reload speed. Maybe with masterwork...? Even the "explosions" if you can call them that. Need more dmg

              • Malfeasance requires more Range and High Caliber Rounds. Thorn requires more Range from 40 to 80 and increased Stability. Soul Devourer should be increased from 6 to 10 seconds or just indefinitely... Ace of Spades’s Memento Mori perk can keep on going so I don’t see why we can’t have something special for a mindless grind for like Thorn. But that’s just me.

                I would rather use a sidearm with no kill clip and no rampage than malfeasance. 180s in general are pretty meh in PVE imo. Their clip size sucks relative to how much damage they do per bullet. At least on PC, if you're going to use a 180 in PVE then you might as well use a sidearm. They have barely less range, around the same bursts per kill, hit faaar harder (thus pretty much negating the range disadvantage with just one stack of rampage), and have almost pinpoint accuracy from the hip.

              • I'd be down for a PvE buff, it's not something I ever bother with when I can just use Jötunn and say good bye to pretty much whatever I want.

              • yes increase more of that splashy damage thing that blinds people when shot & make the explosion trigger after only 2 Headshots with a bigger blast radius, just like a dark Luna's Howl

              • It doesn't need a buff it needs a whole overhaul. It's perk doesn't work within the game.

              • Give it something similar to thorn like...idk...make the explosion occur more often, larger blast radius, and hit for less but slightly increase base damage

              • Make it so it drains near by enemies shields. Shoot guardian A, Guardian B gets non lethal shield burn

              • It definitely needs to do more damage to Taken. An invader with the jump can also easily take it down. It's a very underwhelming exotic for what it's supposed to do.

              • I suggest a Masterwork that changes it to every 3 rounds explosions, it’ll create more overall damage output and work more as a PvP/PvE weapon (maybe lower overall explosion damage in PvP?).

                • Often times you’ll kill enemies under 5 shots which render’s it’s exotic perk completely useless. Make it so that if you kill an enemy in less than 5 rounds, have it so the rounds that are stuck to the enemy fall off and explode anyways.

                  • If malfeasance worked like it does against invaders all the time, that gun will downright op. But then again, we need more guns on not forgottens level
