The Vanguard shall 'Hold the line'
To all those who intend to side with the drifter. To every guardian who has chosen to forgo his duty to the vanguard and side with this entity known as the 'Drifter' the Praxic Order has a message for you.
When the Fallen houses united to take the Last City Down, the Vanguard held the line.
When a Vex Mind intended to devour the Black Garden, the Vanguard held the line.
When the Taken King invaded and nearly destroyed everything we hold dear, the Vanguard held the line.
When the SIVA took over the sacred IRON Temple, the Vanguard held the line.
When the Cabal destroyed our City, took all our loot, We drove them back & the Vanguard held the line.
When Argos & Val Ca'our tried to destroy the Leviathan, The vanguard held the line.
When our mentor Cayde was killed, we took revenge on the Scorn. The Vanguard held the line.
When the Black Armory had to be protected, the Vanguard stepped up & held the line.
And now as the Drifter deceives countless guardians to fall for the darkness, to partake in this game which has bought nothing but destruction to the vanguard order.
The praxic order shall stay strong. Dispel this corruption from our land & the Vanguard will hold the Line. The city shall not fall. The guardians will not fall.

The godslayer did with the help of cayde, in direct defiance of vanguard orders, and Eris morn, an independent guardian not linked to the vanguard anymore. Who ended the SIVA crisis? The godslayer (again) with the help of Saladin and his new iron lords. Who beat ghaul, the red legion, and retook our home? The godslayer, who had to whip the lightless vanguard into shape as they scattered to the wind. Who saved us from the danger of penoptes? The godslayer who also saved Osiris. Who saved Rasputin and ended Xol? The mother-blam!-ing godslayer. Who dealt with the issues on the leviathan? The godslayer. Who avenged cayde? The godslayer against Zavala’s orders which were to “hold the line.” Who helped the black armory? The godslayer. Now the godslayer must chose between the vanguard and drifter, and due to how little the vanguard has helped them, I wouldn’t blame the godslayer from choosing the drifter.
