Honestly. Of course you're all complaining about Thorn being bad when you've been running trust with 0 recoil the last 2 seasons or been using 0 skill, 0 aim weapons like Jotun and Telesto.
Break out a 140 or a 150, go practice with it on Dregs in PvE. Remember what using guns that you actually have to aim feels like. Stop complaining. You've been given a free 150 RPM HC with 2 tap potential and you're saying it's bad. Ridiculous.

Thorn was also the most cried about gun in Destiny history. Everyone apparently, are idiots.

I wouldn’t say that because it has bloom, “you have to aim”, I’d say it just forces you to pace shots better. And once you get that down, it’s a fantastic weapon, PvE/PvP.

5 RepliesIt’s not bad Just that it can’t compete with not forgotten that’s a legendary that also has 2 tap potential.
-
Aim assist on all weapons taints the concept of skill.
-
1 ReplyActually, you have to aim with Jotunn, otherwise it will hit the moon. If you really talk about 0 skill weapons, why not mention Wardcliff or Shotties!? But I agree, people tend to cry way to fast over here.

1 ReplyThe bloom is the issue I feel LW D1 do issues LW D2 all the issues It almost feels like a totally different gun, same with the duke imo

Well said my man

Recoil wasn't really a problem for me. And that is coming from someone who plays on console
-
2 RepliesOh, ok- So what you are saying then is that if you compare thorn yo s crappy gun that no one wants to use that we will realize that’s its actually kinda ok? Awesome!👍
-
2 RepliesI think people's issue may be the thorn is supposed to have a 100 recoil direction, its stats show that but it kicks to one side, if bungie labelled there guns correctly the confusion may not exist.
-
I just think the visual recoil versus the actual recoil just doesn’t match up and it takes me a while to adjust every time I throw it on.
-
3 Repliesmy thing with thorn is i barely get the marks its either a crowded area and it would be suicide to get it or it runs out b4 i find anyone else beside that its good

In a room full of people with IQs over 200 The guy with an IQ of 120 looks like a moron.

I heard Thorn was bad, but then I watched a few videos of people using it and it looks like a pretty good weapon. Not as great as it once was, but definitely not bad. Recoil doesn't look anywhere near as bad some people are making it out to be, and the shots look pretty damn crispy. It reminds me of when I tried out the Duke after using Trust for so long, even using Hawkmoon yesterday after not using hand cannons outside of 180s on Destiny 2 took me a little while to get used to again. Not all weapons work and handle the same, practice is key.

1 ReplyDon’t you disrespect my toaster. Lol But yea I agree, although I wish the first shot wasn’t so awkward. Otherwise I love thorn to death, especially in pve.
