I propose they make Baryon Boughs the currency for infusion. I have thousands of them, and they are the single most useless planetary material in the game.

Bump and +1. Cores for Infusion is an idiotic, game padding, fun sucking addition that was never necessary and does nothing to enrich the gameplay experience. Cores for Infusion needs to go.

2 RepliesStopped playing because of the levelling and core system. Bungie said they won’t change anything, have to admire them for standing strong, unfortunately that won’t bring me or many of my clan back though, actually I’m not even sure there’s anyone left? All I’ve seen is people leaving it.

Or the "Just spend your resources wisely" guy. Or the "Just play the game" guy. Am I missing any? You are missing the point, we know how to get them, we just don't want them in infusion!!!! Don't want them! Don't want suggestions or insults. Don't care if they drop like candy for some of you. Don't want your opinion either because we get it, you are fine with them in the game, you are entitled to your opinion. SO ARE WE! This is the opinion of many people and they keep bringing it up because they want it changed.

I don't play anymore but while I did... I hated the core system. It was a grindy and sucked the fun out of the game. So many items to upgrade and no cores to do it with. This forum reminds me why I stay away lol.

This system doesn't promote or keep people playing out of enjoyment to get further in the game. Its just a cop out for a lack thereof for constant updates and no new substantial content being added to the game, instead its to have a prolonged leveling system for a drip fed pass where they indeed have no intentions of changing.

Great post! This needs to happen whatever DMG says. Hitching enhancement core to power level Fusion is poor design, stifling weapon and armor choices, and is plain out not fun when you consider the economy on these poorly managed, not balanced or well adjusted. Here’s an idea. Drop a enhancement core with each powerful engram? Problem solved. It’s not hard people.

2 RepliesThe problem Bungie isn’t seeing is release of a new season and powerful bounties to catch dormant players up, but no enchantment cores to go with it. So they are shooting themselves in the foot saying “hey, we will bring you up to power in no time but you know you gotta grind cores ( and that would be a good amount) to bring ANY gear you liked or used before becoming dormant up to power to play.” If you are going to get players back into new content you can’t half arse it. Which is what is being done now.

18 RepliesOh my God how do people have a problem with cores still. Getting them is easy as it is, just play the game. Maybe try not wasting them all on your "favorite weapon" every time you get something 1 light level above it and you wouldn't have a problem.

Just make ghost fragments rewards for any activity in any planet and lower cost of daily spider core purchases to 10 shards no matter how many you buy. Problem solved, everyone happy.
