Competitive matchmaking
Bungie, I just wanted to let you know that as a solo player I’ve decided to match exclusively against 4 stacks. It’s kind of a personal choice...oh wait no. It’s your god awful matchmaking system

Step 4: create pick up teams Step 5: profit Note: this is easier to do the better you are This was how I "soloed" to fabled last season, met some fun people but some games were full solo (usually the beginning of that days run), some were with others (sometimes 4 stack, sometimes 2... sometimes mics usually not) Started this season the same way, queued up, stomped with the trio of people I got teamed with who were also a pick up team, friended them afterwards and we continued on together with a decent streak of games.

1 ReplyGet rid of the loss penalty and the mode would be more inviting to players. They would stick around even in a losing match.

They should have it where you go in solo/duo or 3-4. Is that too hard for Bungie to do? And fix the servers so people aren't being DDoS.

It’s total garbage. Hard to imagine, but the change last week to the point system actually made it worse!

1 ReplyI’ve been posting this same thing. Absolutely frustrating! I’ve been at come trying for Luna’s for months. I can’t get any help unless I pay for it on the app and LFG. This season is even worse because the new point system benefits stacks and makes it incredibly hard for solo players because solo player will lose more games.

And lets be real here how many players are soloing comp above the 2000 points. And if they make a solo playlist how long would your matchmaking be. Until today hours ago, just 60 people got the grind to 5.5k not more! seasons before there was HUNDRETS of 5.5k players, now 60. Remember, 6 full days of grind and just 60 people are on 5.5k!!!! Its says everything about the playerbase and i hope you understand why the matchmaking is give you that - there is nothing else left :/ [PC]

The problem is that the ranks get reset every season. If the was left alone you’d find much more balanced games. You would only come across 4stacks who are average in the lower ranks. Sweats could play sweats. What’s the point in resets?

I don’t think there are very many players in the 2300 range that play solo.

I really want to know what game you're playing, since when I play competitive I never get against 4 stacks.
