Tfw a very small portion of these forums consists of legit constructive feedback, while the rest is just plain immature whining...

Wether people post legit constructive feedback or not, even those posts will get you typical "we have listened' responce but then proceed to do absolutely nothing about that. Guitar error is still there. According to someone it was said to be deep in the coding... Well got news for ya, You are a developer. You know your own error codes. Why dont you playtest them in a simular envoriment as your players do, and thats not on a seperated server in your office, thank you.

Stop acting like all Bungie needs to do is wave a magic wand and boom, error code or bug is instantly fixed. Ffs, developing and maintaining a game is far more complex than any of you might think it is. Even I don’t know the full extent. It’s very hard to anticipate and prepare for bugs. Educate yourself on game development, please.

Edited by GamingWithSilvertail: 3/10/2019 11:26:11 PMNobody cares about what you think since the only thing they have to maintain is the master server, matchmaking servers, and account servers. They do not have in game server costs(Which would of been the case if they actually payd for servers like most MMO's do) Its also not very hard to prepare for bugs. A indie company with 24 man team, fixes bugs on a daily basis with theyr game. That includes game breaking bugs. You're goign to tell me a these '700' employees, do not know how to fix theyr own code within reasonable time? This has got nothing to do with educating myself in development. If they cannot fix a 'guitar' error, they arnt capible to even understand theyr own code. Its simple as that. You dont make error codes into a name and say "Hey, that does that, this does that". You know its there, where its coming from allready in the direction. On top of that, that bug has been around since what, september? Thats 6+ months. On top of that, If you think Bungie only got alot of money just because of Destiny IP, Take a look at the whole Halo IP, please. They didnt host one server on those games and servers where paid by community members too. So yes, they DO have money and money is not a problem.

I agree to a point, they had $500,000,000.00 apparently to build this game, remember game, look at other projects around the world for the same money spent, then tell me if you think they did a good job! Don't get me wrong I've enjoyed the game, but that is a massive amount of money, on something that is mainly software. I understand they are pushing the limits of what is achievable but again $500,000,000.00!

I’m pretty sure that massive number that was supposedly reported regarded the Destiny franchise as a whole and not just D1.
-
I forgot to add that you just dont get it. One of the clan engrams, has been bugged since........ vanilla d2 release XD
-
Either way, it's a massive number, apply it to the whole 10 year Destiny life if you like, if you were the one footing that bill would you be satisfied with what's beed produced so far? Like I said the game is good, I've put quite a bit of time in, and for the most part enjoyed it, but there should be some money left over for fixings real issues/bugs in a timely fashion, if not again $500,000,000.00 for what is here, not sure sure value would be a word I would use to describe it.

agreed

Agreed. But when the constructive ones are also ignored, you can't blame people (paying customers) for getting the hump.
-
Example?

You've got working fingers, go and find them. I did.

Since you’re the one who brought it up, burden of proof is on you. You can’t make a claim and then tell someone to look up the evidence themselves. However, I already know that it’s false. Take a look at DestinyRoundup every so often. The devs respond to feedback almost every day, and not just here.

There's lots of constructive posts on a daily basis here, easy to find. Since you're so lazy get off your arse and look for yourself. Burden of not being lazy so and so is on you. Use your eyes. Good day...

On the contrary, I have seen a handful of legit constructive feedback, on here, Reddit, and twitter. Unfortunately, most of it gets drowned out by the whining. That is a fact.
