Bungie,
I know you guys have implemented catch up mechanics below 600. That's a good thing. you're issue is though...what if it's a duplicate drop? I have been playing for quite some time and I find that I keep getting the same gear. I know the system wants to top you off and increase +5, +6 etc but if you do all your milestones and get duplicate gear, then you have to wait until Tuesday the following week.
Why don't we instead have engrams that garuantee a helmet? A primary weapon?
For milestones, I wish you guys could do the same and award higher LL scaling from the vendors. The tower, strikes and NF powerful engrams don't raise is it too much.
You know what I liked? Out on the field with The exotic quests. I knew by the end I got what I sought after. I can get the same experience with other hard to find items if I know it's coming from one boss
examples last word quest, thorn for this coming Tuesday, thunderlord, the Osiris forges. Whisper of the worm, The black armory forges! Those are great ideas.
How about we allow bounties to award specific gear now? Let me do a bounty that give me a primary so i can infuse it?
I don't mind using cores. Award more cores though like upon level up just like the motes of light from D1. I don't mind that.
It's my hope that this read was refreshing as it is meant to be a more neutral and calm tone. Contrary to the norm here, there are those who can express their points in a better way.
This by no means is the end all be all fix but it definitely is needed.
