What’s your Dredgen name?
So, we know Dredgen Yor, Dredgen Vale, and apparently Drifter’s title was like Dredgen Hope or something. So what are your guys title?

Dredgen Reven "Revenant", seemed like fitting base to go for, though Dredgen Revenant whole would been bit too long. Also like how it sounds almost like "Raven". I find name fitting in a way, Guardian can be seen as Revenant by enemies. You kill them, and if it is not in special "no Res" zone, they just come back to life and kill you. Just like the Revenant.

I was thinking to my struggles, and then it hit me in how the one time i completely gave up, the one time i lost all faith and hope in life, I almost died. But I survived. I learned. I grew, and bloomed into who I am today, after overcoming some personal sh*t. I am Dredgen Rise.

Pretty late but for my Warlock, whose original name is Seklar Kelani, is Dredgen Strife. The reason why is because he combats a battle inside himself between the Light and the Darkness. He holds the belief that there cannot be just one; there must be both Light and Dark. Yet, he struggles to stay loyal to the Light and stays more in the middle as best he can so he doesn't give himself to the Darkness. He is a quick friend to the Drifter and when we get access to the Darkness subclasses, he'll take the opportunity.

With Rezyl having named himself in a forgotten language, yet being taken down sorrows Road by the hive. I'd like to think that it's a hive language he adopted during his Decensus ad Inferos. Malok, for those who didn't play D1, is the son of Savathun. And who intended to take oryxs place once we slew him. I prefer Savathun over oryx as Savi uses alot more chaotic and clever tactics, she's all about that knowledge and deception. And in the hive language Malok means 'My Poison' So, Dredgen Malok would mean 'My poison abyss' and fitting lore wise as we're about to get our darkness subclasses while delving into the darkness if Savathun. Long post, I know, but I love making character names with lore related intent. Without the lore, I'd go with dredgen blight.

3 RepliesJust got my title today, and i believe personally that your Dredgen Title should represent your character and/or values as a person. On a personal level, i grew up in really bad situations, being out of place or an outcast socially and i often found myself in dark places most of the time. Then i found my opus, my revelation to how things should be viewed. It's just me, my mindset and response. So i took it upon myself to Take the initiative and better my person, and to find that happiness in everything i do. I am Dredgen Mirth.

The shortening of my name disavows me from my family. Dredgen[ [i]n[/i] ] An ancient, hateful word from a long-forgotten language, still kept hidden from public knowledge. I am no stranger to the stories, or the origins of its wretched language. Or The deaths, the atrocities committed. Were it not for my status as a Warlock in pursuit of enlightenment, I wouldn’t have been allowed to peruse through the restricted-access archives. I’ve done nothing but fight for the city or it’s vanguard, I’ve killed Gods and Demons at their command; and yet, I’m being investigated as a murderer, and for the death of my close friend, no less. Even after all I’ve done, what I’ve sacrificed to win the Red War? Those refugees needed me. Saladin abandoned me. The Praxic Order wants to betray me. And my closest partner, is dead. I have nothing. The glitzy status of ‘war hero’ blinds the public to any hardship you face; like being another disposable soldier. Like having your effort and generosity overlooked in the pursuit of scandal by skeptics and naysayers. Do you know what ‘Dredgen’ really means? It means ‘[b]Nothing[/b].’ After all I’ve done, I’m still nothing to all those I’ve fought for. All those I’ve died for, again, and again.
