Quickplay is very sweaty. Of course, matchmaking is all over the place, so who could really compare what you get matched up against versus what i do. We each have our own experiences, so be it.
Xur Should have been updated at the launch of the black armory.
Exotics are not worth it. The two you listed are both D1 exotics that have made a return.
I think you misunderstand my point about light level. It was a rhetorical question.What i meant is What is the point of light level if everything is made more difficult? Higher light levels should make things like Patrol and strikes a cake walk. Nightfalls and raids should be at the highest light levels to keep them difficult. Case in point, i should be melting everything in a patrol with out everything scaling to my light level, with the exception of Flash points. Flash points should be on nightfall level in my opinion. Easy stuff like strikes and patrols should simply not scale to my light level.
Thats your opinion, and how you handled it. Not how everyone does, or how everyone sees fit. Sometimes, you just wanna get in a little extra play time.
How does strike specific loot make strikes feel pointless? It actually gave you a route to obtain something unique and go get it. Hence, a reason to play the strike.
Factions should have never been on hiatus. They should have been the same as they were in d1. Every four weeks, like the iron banner, faction rally should have still occured. During that week, the factions sold unique gear that was only available during the faction rally. And trials should have never changed, and should still be in the game. I don't know what is taking them so long to bring either of these things back either, especially faction rally.
D1 and D2 could not be farther apart , and i decided to check destiny tracker to see how much d1 you have actually played just for kicks. have you even player more than an hour or two of d1? Because you have no exotics, a low grimoire score, zero crucible experience, nada.
It makes sense why you would think that they are so similar when literally all you have done are the story missions, but the fact that you have next to zero time recorded playing d1 pretty much nullifies any opinion you have comparing the two.

I don't think quickplay is sweaty. Spent about a month using a bow and a fusion for the lols something I would never do in comp.. I'll also run around with sweet business, hardlight whatever else and do fine. I stay around my norm which is 2kd/3kda+ while messing around.. definitely can't do that in comp I have to run dusk rock/not forgotten/wardcliff or bygones/ erintel/ wardcliff there. Xur is being updated lol. Sure exotics are. Ohk body sniper/lw those are both worth so is malfeasance/wotw... those are all the exotic quest exotics.. they are all pretty good. Everything does melt on strikes/patrol lol. I play quickplay when I feel like playing for a few. Just never saw the point in strikes/patrol they both have been relatively useless throughout this franchises history. They didn't have that at first therefore they were as pointless as D2 strikes... D2 strikes do have strike specific loot if you solo the nightfalls on its easiest difficulty. I agree idk why they changed factions or trials... don't know why they are being so stubborn about bringing everything back as it was... it was good enough and this is essentially destiny 1.5 we really don't care at this point for anything fancy... atleast I don't. More crap to do is always better. I have 2 accounts. On my other account I did every raid 100+ times in D1 had over 100 flawlesses, finished #1 in the world in some aspects of trials... I played a lot. D1 and D2 are literally the same game. I can just as easily say you barely played D1 or D2 therefore your opinion about either is nullified.

But saying nine hours in game time(you) is comparable to 20 days in game time (me) is not you being able to say the same thing about the amount of time I played in d1. Sure I’ve played less d2, but that’s because this game is so utterly useless and boring I find it hard to stay inspired to play for long periods of time. But whatever . I don’t agree with your opinions, and that’s fine. I’m ending this, because this stupid back and forth isn’t going to change anything. My opinions will still be what they are, and yours will be too. I’m mature enough to respect your opinion enough to step away when I know it can’t be changed. Why would I sit here and keep repeating myself? Why would YOU sit here and keep repeating yourself? And who’s wrong? I would say neither of us. We are both entitled to our opinions, and this whole conversation you and I were having was based on pure personal perspective of how we view this game, and that’s fine. I mean honestly, your last comment truly shows that your maturity level is not that high, especially if you think I’m stepping away from this conversation because somehow I view your opinions as “right” as opposed to mine now. Trust me, you didn’t sway my opinion at all. This is purely because both of us are talking to a brick wall that isn’t coming down. I respect your opinion. Your are allowed to view this game in whatever manner you want. Props to you if you enjoy it. The flip side is that my experience is not the same as yours. You have barely played D2 and are already halfway to your total D1 playtime... you've barely played either game so therefore by your own logic your opinion is nullified. 1. Curiosity, because honestly I’ve never heard ANYONE say that they think d1 and d2 are remotely similar, and I just wanted to see how much d1 you had played. 2. Proven wrong? How? Because you throw a gamer tag out there that could be anyone’s? I could do that too. You’d have no way of proving it’s actually me or not. I just said I find it funny that anytime I call someone out for not having a lot of playtime, it’s just that they always have another account. Maybe they do. They probably don’t though. 3. Lol, no, it’s not nullified by my own logic. 9 hours isn’t even close to 20 days of game play. That’s like 2 % of the same amount of time played. And I openly admitted that I haven’t played d2 much because I find it boring and uninspiring. There is no way I’m going to put up the same amount of time in a game. But I at least have played through much more than the story and a few patrols. I honestly don’t know why your so hell bent on continuing this man. It’s utterly pointless. Seriously. Move on.
