As I've heard, these single round matches take longer than a full 3-round match of regular gambit

If your team has no idea how to DPS anything they can take as long as about 2 rounds of gambit..... plus if the 3 blue berries just stare at the boss while you kill the 3 envoys by yourself so you can actually start a damage phase it can definitely prolong the activity. If your team knows what's going on it's pretty quick.

Not with the invasions. Apparently two competent teams going against eachother can prolong the match for eternity with how frequent they are
