No one here is over 21. So 6 of you have either lied, or have broken the law.

Beer 5-6% Whiskey 80-100 proof Wine 12-15% I don’t really drink anything else.

Never had it

I rarely drink. Mostly it’s just to establish myself as one of the group. If you’re not one of the boys you’re in trouble. To be one of the boys, you gotta drink with the boys. It’s like partaking in strange alien rituals to please the other culture so that they will trade.

Last time I had a drink, I woke up in a Walmart parking lot without clothes and had strange messages written on my body in crayon. I ain't doing that again!

don't drink much...but if i do...Beer, Stoli or Russian Standard, or Cuervo, or cocktails. Sam Adams Chocolate Bock is the best beer.

Personally, I think alcohol is disgusting, partially because I'm still a minor, and partially because of the one time I didn't realize my grandmother dumped my sweet tea out and put wine in the cup.
-
I like whatever some wines fit into
If you dont drink denatured alcohol straight from the can you're a wuss.

You dont drink alcohol though
stop
They strength of alcohol I consume depends on the situation. I pair wine and sometimes beer with dinner (wine is generally 13%ABV, and I prefer my beer to be >7%ABV). My nightcap is usually bourbon (40%ABV). I don't do many mixed drinks, with the exception of maybe an after dinner martini when dining out or some tropical drink while on vacation. The thing is, the volume of the drink will scale proportionally with the ABV. I wouldn't drink the same volume of bourbon as I would of beer over the same amount of time. Moderation is important.
-
IPA for beer Equal parts in a drink. Fill the entire glass full of ice. Then half alcohol and half mixer. By the third drink it will be 3/4 alcohol 1/4 mixer. Then I smoke and can usually have a bunch more after that.
-
If it doesn’t kill me instantly, it’s not strong enough
-
I don't drink and don't plan to. Technically the legal drinking age here is 5 if it's a small amount of your parents' drink. Pretty much all of my friends drink a little bit-they're 15/16.

Where I live, you can't even use mouthwash without risking a DUI.

I almost thought that Offtopic was younger than expected, then I remembered you have to be 21 to drink in America...

Scotch/Whiskey. Neat if it's vintage and rocks if it's not. I enjoy a good spicy bloody Mary. Beer is good on a cold day but just makes me full most of the time.

Only 18. Old enough to die for my country, but not old enough to drink.
-
I prefer stronger stuff so I don’t need to drink as much. Alcohol is fattening.

Edited by XxElementZeroxX: 3/6/2019 1:51:50 PMI don’t drink often. Maybe 3 drinks a month. Depends if my wife and I go to a fancy restaurant. Sometimes I’ll get a cocktail of some kind or a beer. Just depends on my mood. Recently had 2 new (to me) drinks. Both bourbon based. First one was called a Black Manhattan. Served in a martini glass. Very smooth and smokey at first but towards the end it turned into your kinda run of the mill super strong alcohol. Second was an Old Fashioned. Served in a whiskey glass with a large cube of ice. Really smooth and citrusy. My wife (who doesn’t drink) said she could smell it from across the table and it smelled amazing. It was very very good.

I don't drink. For starters, alcohol does nothing for me. I hate the taste and I've never, experienced this legendary 'buzz' that everyone talks about ( I'm too much of control freak to let go of my inhibitions and just relax ). Second, the Irish government has recently taken a zero tolerance to drink driving. I could lose my license if I'm caught with any alcohol in my system, and since I live in the middle of nowhere ( no public transport ), I need my drivers license to go anywhere and do stuff.

Taste is the most important thing

Stronger beers, 11-13%, and average whiskys, 40-43%, neat are my normal fare.
