tbh, bungie does not seem to know how to make things PVP.
What the heck is wrong with matchmaking?
My last 20 games (literally 20 -blam!-ing games) are 6v2, 5v4, 3v3 in addition to afk bots, leavers, stacks...
Please someone tell me a reason why anyone want to play crucible?
Whats its purpose except luring the hardest pvp noobs with loot in there?????
i mean destiny2 is a great game without any question! but quickplay? wth!!!
Take the -blam!-ing loot out of crucible so only people play who are -blam!-ing willing to play!!! Give crucible a better reason to play!!
In almost 25 years of gaming ive never seen such a mess in a shooter matchmaking...
aaaaand dont come with "but its main point is PVE"... THEN -blam!-ING DONT INCLUDE A PVP MODE AND MAKE PEOPLE PLAY IT TO HAVE SOME -blam!-ING LOOT!!!!
its 2019 and this is what people came up with? this is peak human evolution?
ofc they wont delete crucible, since it MIGHT be fun on paper... but playing EVERY -blam!-ING SINGLE GAME an pre-lost match isnt fun!!
if you need evidence!!! ohhhhh just hit me up! gonna show you some -blam!-ed up shit you will never have seen in your life before! i hope @ bungie someone is so hard ashamed that he quits his job... crucible is an hard insult to every person living on this planet and a living fact of incompetence!
heres just a small glimpse how crucible was to me the last 2 days:
Here my last 10 games:
1. 6v3 (no one joined afterwards) vs stack
2. 5v3 (we had 1 afk and 1 afk botting) vs stack
3. 6v6 (3 afk)
4. 6v6 (5 leaving, new people constantly joining and instantly leaving)
5. 5v6 (wow you might think we can win this? -blam!-ING NOPE! we had 2 afk bots) vs stack
6. 6v2 (people constantly joining and leaving)
7. 5v3 (1 afk bot)
8. 6v6 (finally a 6v6.... -blam!-ING NOPE... we had 3 blueberries with green/blue equipment probably playing the first time crucible)
9. 6v5 (1 afk bot, people are just there to get their loot and do literally nothing except shooting sometimes)
10. 6v6 (2 of the other team in group just lagging around and killing everything that moves without having a chance of seeing or shooting them)
Conclusion:
-1 afk bot guy was alkways the same, checked his game history and BAM like 100 games 0 kills! looks like hes doing this for ages and isnt banned!
- the amount of people who actually dont wanna play crucible but are forced to for getting loot is incredible high which makes the whole PVP mode completely useless
- the skill gap between players is unreasonable... how are people on my team who are literally played 2 hours of destiny?????
- every game and i mean EVERY -blam!-ING GAME there is a leaver and/or at least 1 person afk
This all could be highly prevented by:
1. Invisible ELO... (stop putting uneaven matches together, id rather wait 5 more mins than lossing 15 mins witth a broken match)
2. Pairing stacks vs solos (idc that much about it, stacks are not always better, but still should be prevented)
3. PUNISH -blam!-ING PEOPLE!!! if they are afk over 100 games botting around, that are 100 games thrown in the bin for at least 5 people! dont let people leav, if they leav punish their asses off, like they deserve it.
4. STOP -blam!-ING PUT LOOT IN A PVP MODE WHERE PEOPLE JOIN WHO DONT WANNA PLAY PVP BUT WANT THE LOOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this should be a no brainer.... but well here we are!
now waiting for my rumble match since 30 mins...

Thought I'd add in my two cents as a strictly PvE player: I agree with you that PvP specific loot (such as the Luna) would be a welcome addition for many players. I thought that Bungie really made headway back in Destiny 1 when they released the [i]Touch of Malice[/i] - a weapon only really good inside the King's Fall raid as I'm sure you can recall. Seeing Bungie make more unique weapons such as this for crucible would go a long way I think towards preventing AFK players in the matchmaking. I mean if you aren't really a fan of crucible, why grind for a gun that is only really good [i]in[/i] crucible? Maybe this would look like a faster rate of fire on some guns whilst inside crucible, or guns with a low base impact but deal substantially more damage against guardians. These sort of perks would make the guns good at PvP, but lackluster in PvE. Who else does this change benefit? Us PvE players! I mean I don't know about you, but I hate it when my guns get nerfed because of how OP they are in PvP. If no one uses these guns and instead use these proposed new crucible-specific ones, then everyone wins because then nerfs and buffs could be made more easily based on the activity. Thoughts?

i dont have any problems about the weapons used in pvp! everything is allowed which is served by the game! my point about loot in pvp is more for the people who exclusevily play pvp for the loot (as seen also on many posts in this thread). its a powerful engram which is kinda desired to level your light higher... ofc this will result in not using pvp for what it is, rather than a loot source and nothing more. i actually dont want nothing really nerfed, im fine with my hunter and there are no horrific game destroying items right now in crucible. also some balance changes are on its way! mainly my problem with pvp and its disfuncionality is related to the matchmaking and anything around like punishment for afk, leaving, etc.

Dude, I didn't read your post because of how close minded I can tell you already are. Bungie can't make PVP? Have you played the original Xbox?

Well, I'm not going to give you any emotional ammunition because you're a troll. There's a difference between constructive opinions and free speech. You offer neither, as far as I've read. Instead, intense rants that are inconsiderate as to how others interpret your arbitrary perspective to this profound experience of a game. Not to mention that I'm 100% Team Bungie because they need our confidence more than they need our money, and I genuinely believed they've done their best to prove that to us.
