In Crucible, should one team dominate the other by clear margin, you break up those teams and at least mix members up, if you can't find new people to add some in the roster, so next run around you'll get better chances of turn out on winning team.
In Gambit you do nothing to separate proverbial "4-stack" that clearly wins over their competition by even greater margin than Crucible's 2:1 ratio, even if their competition is same four random players. Not to mention that if you do leave match-making, next match you'll find yourself in is against another 4-stack. Liek you can't match those quartets against each other?:)
Don't get me wrong, while I do miss that Supreme Butthurt bloke, there is no reason to summon him, as I'm already at 4 resets, therefore there is nothing to pursuit in terms of loot/rewards (only invasions separate me from Dredgen, but there is point - Geth do not infiltrate). So I'm having fun even when losing - maybe I even break my own record and will have 11-defeat streak!
Humour aside, whil I can't help yet to find this "matchmaking" to be ridiculously amusingly hilarious, because I like Gambit, I find this matchmaking creates a problem of placing rather difficult "entry bar" for new players, willing to try on Gambit, despite the reputation of being "sweaty" and full of "tryhards" (WTF is this even?). Such "cold shower" will have higher chances to repel people away from Gambit, not welcome them there. And I'm tired seeing same 50 nicknames on rotation (*muffled "Mad World" plays at the distance*). It's like living in small village, seriously - not bad per se, but in this case smells of stagnation.
