Die less.

1 ReplyEdited by GozerTheGozerian: 3/4/2019 5:45:42 PMDon't die. Let your teammates be the meat shields and steal kills. Or you could wait for mayhem.

Edited by SnakePayne86: 3/4/2019 11:03:02 PMIf you don’t get the jump on somebody, then disengage and run. I always tell new guys not to jump into to every engagement, put yourself where you can win and end the game positive. When you can do that consistently, then try to up your kill output.

Anybody can muster up a .5 kd to finish the quest
-
1 ReplyNearly killed me this. Went from using Blast furnace trying to get kills to Sweet Business and Cerberus, staying with the team and hitting as many as I could picking up assists and kills. Worked for me. Jotun might be useful if you have it, I didn't at the time.

I'm no good at PvP I did it on mayhem use blade barrage and shards and wait for them to come to you instead of chasing them down bit of a horrible way to do it but it will get you past that part

If you can keep a 0.5 KD every match you are good.

Idk, just play back with a max range go figure. Works wonders

The events make it ultra easy to finish when there's a flood if PvE players going in just for rewards Crimson days - super easy. Control heavy ammo, rack up a dozen kills. I got the quest done in 3 matches here Iron Banner - lots of powerful rewards especially with reset. If your LL is decent you can smash lots of PvE only players who you can punch in the head 3-4 times before they even notice you Quickplay - pick abilities that let you escape like blink or stealth. Stay with the team and spam abilities that can tag enemies with damage and let your team clean up. IE - grenade launchers, long range pulse/auto. Hard light is especially good to just spray bullets all over without damage fall off, ricochet around corners to tag enemies with some damage

If you play the crucible part during iron banner you will at least have more people playing and the possibility of some matches with players of your skill level. It sucks to be forced to wait, but bungie ruined their matchmaking in normal crucible. A lot of regular players quit but IB brings some back in for the event.

Here’s a few suggestions.. Your general play style should be cautious; prioritize staying alive over getting a kill. Don’t rush, and RUN away if the enemy activates a super/picks up heavy ammo near you. Use a scout and stay near but behind teammate(s); all you need is to pop a shot on the enemy and let the teammates finish them off for an assist. If you take any fire - RUN OR TAKE COVER. If your team is getting pub-stomped, it’s probably best to leave the match. Good luck
