The single 1 TRUE way to keep pvp alive is to bring back in the casual audience. How do you do that? By not making pvp a shitfest full of shotgun nerds and spectral blades. Let’s face it the super needs a nerf, damage resistance, invisibility, speed, mobility, huge hitboxes, it has everything. It’s basically unstoppable AND the light swings take no energy. It’s a fact that spectral needs a nerf. Next let’s move onto shotguns. Maps designed for base D2 do not fit into forsaken pvp. THE 4v4 MAPS ARE WAY TOO SMALL. Guns like nf Luna’s howl and shotguns overrule these maps and people with those specific guns usually end up pub stomping said casual audience. REPLACE every base D2 map and replace it with D1 maps. Rusted lands? Decent sized map. Endless vale? Small as -blam!-. With the almost foreseeable nerf of oem and skating there will be a guaranteed climb in frequency of the next new ez meta trend: spectral blades. I don’t want this, cammy doesn’t want this, so bungie needs to nerf it. I recently made a new character on pc and found it very difficult to do well with the combined trash maps, trash meta, and sweaty ass players pubstomping with said sweat guns. What bungie also needs to do is completely revamp comp. whatever they have to do to get the sweats out of quickplay
