PVP makes up around 40% of the entire Destiny community so I think it really needs backing. To those saying it's rubbish and dead that is truly a wrong opinion. Go enjoy the awesomeness PVE has to offer. Just consider the facts when making a statement about PVP. As a heavy PVP and PVE player I can say that PVP does need some sort of update like Gambit is receiving in the next season. By no means do I think it needs an entire season dedicated to it. That would heavily split the population. Just minor tweaks that will overall change the aura and vibe PVP gives off. And BUNGIE PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD BALANCE PVE AND PVP SEPARATELY.

Edited by Yu7Zi: 3/3/2019 7:25:45 PMThe total 14 million players are all the players that have ever touched D2. Right now the Crucible player count for yesterday was 493k. PvE player count was 606.3k. So the 40% should be higher which in turn further strengthens my point.

But that includes all the poor bastards who detest PvP yet still feel obliged to do the daily/weekly bounties and other quests designed to funnel cannon fodder into the crucible.

Eh, that’s just opinion. I mean, that’s how I feel about PvE for the most part. Only do it if I really have to.

Either way they're still playing it. You could say the same with PVE. Even if they may be playing for the sake of it there's still no way to tell whether or not they're serious about it. Either way changing the game for the better won't completely destroy the game even if your a PVE player.

The point is the way the game is designed those numbers dont really tell us much and theyre hardly proof 40% of D2 players come to the game for PvP.

All in all Crucible is by no means dead. That is a fact. To say the least it's slowly declining and Bunfie imo need to prevent that.
