i experienced gambit with no adds spawning
loaded in to a match with a buddy ,we joined in on one guy just standing there no adds just kept hearing "over there , over here , over there....other team was 4 stack from other eatern country, guessing asian.
then suddenly we both had bosses and within ten seconds theirs was dead. in the after report we had zero kills , zero motes put in. the other team had the regular amount of each.
how did that happen and what can be done to prevent it from ruining future games.
edit : this post is in suspicion of cheating in any way. this is being matchmade into a bad connection issue. this was an issue before i was put into the match.
if a game is having trouble with comms then the solution is to end the match not put more ppl in.

8 RepliesI strongly suspect that you were victim of an IP Attack or Interence. The Gambit host device stopped all out going traffic, so you had no enemies coming in. Not a bug, an IP Exploit that would not happen if Bungie was not too cheap and incompetent to have Dedicated Host Servers instead of cheap unreliable Peer to Peer with one device picked as game host.

Had this happen, but it was only shriekers on either side, and the enemy team has 0 motes on display. I go to invade with my trusty red aachen and queenbreaker like the absolute sweat I am, and the enemy team has motes. The issue cleared up when my team summoned the primeval

Yes, this happened to me before lol. The invader danced with us and we had some fun showing off emotes

Yeah this bug has been happening since gambit launched.

I had that happen once. No new next wave of enemies.

Happened to me a couple of times as well. "Incoming at the Slums","Incoming at the Pit","Incoming at the Canal" and zero enemies. Evetually lost to the other team because you know, they had motes. Another thing I saw once. Nobody in my team could see the mote bar progress. We banked, the enemy banked, but we had no idea where we were with the motes or if they even count as banked. Eventually we summoned the Primeval with the mote bar at zero.
