Just a question I had in mind. I honestly don't use rumble because I find it too distracting.

If the game uses it too much, I’ll just turn it off. I don’t want to hold an ominously shaking controller for 10 minutes straight
-
I thought it said can you.
-
6 RepliesYes, I’m so used to it that if the controller doesn’t vibrate when I fire a weapon or attack something then I feel extremely uncomfortable.
-
I turn it on whenever the option is available. However, since my Primary gaming platform if the PS4, I’m ashamed to admit that sometimes I tend to forget that vibration/rumble is a thing since the Effect isn’t noticeable ( context for non PS4 users, the rumble in the Dual Shock 4 is shit since Sony hasn’t updated the technology since the PS1 days ). It is however very noticeable on my Xbox One, and I love it.

I prefer not to have that on as it is pretty distracting for me.
-
My controller doesn't have rumbles.
-
1 ReplyThis may sound odd, but I’ve gotten so used to it being on, that turning it off actually worsens my aim
-
Yeesh
-
Always! It lets me know if I'm taking damage and such.
-
I usually don’t mess with it. Sometimes, though, the controller goes into a continuous vibration despite nothing really happening in game, and that’s when I turn it off.
-
Never.
-
1 ReplyNever in a million years. Console recoil is bad enough, the vibrations make it harder to concentrate on aiming.
-
My controller is broken so it’s always a 7.5 magnitude earthquake with vibrate on.
-
1 ReplyWait, you can turn it off?🤔
-
9/10 times. If Im doing something specific that I know is more comfortable with it off I'll turn it off. Otherwise I like to feel what Im doing.
-
All the time. Why...
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
-
Can't stand the vibrations. Especially late at night when everyone else is sleeping and I've got the volume off then suddenly BRRRRRRRRRRRRR
-
Mostly it's always on
-
I have mine off. I think I had turned it off back when D1 was a thing cause I was into PVP and as you know vibration messes up aim. I winded up playing racing games and other games like Rainbow Six Siege without it which was weird but I got used to it. I’d say it’s helped to turn it off.
-
I leave it at default
-
Off in shooters, on in most others because I forget to turn it off
-
I go into the system settings and turn it off full stop cause it’s annoying.
-
I’ve gotten so used to it. If it’s off I question if I actually shot
-
I only ever use it on a cod game. I can't ever handle it on any other shooter or other genre of game

Nope. Distraction
