Why does Golden Gun STILL suck?
Dear Bungie. I would Love to play Golden Gun. Thanks for the extra ammo, but it’s pointless. The timer on GG is so short that by the time you maneuver to get crouching shotgunners or people just plain hiding, it’s gone. That assumes you are not shot down or shotgunned before since the super has no overshield. Honestly, if you don’t want everyone to spam spectral blades, make Goldie good please.

The super doesn't need any shields. It already has insane aim assist. It's just a point and click super it also has no travel time. It can kill at any given range in the game.

2 RepliesThe super isn't the problem. You just haven't developed the game sense of when to use it to best effect. Its a super you pop when you catch people by surprise and can get a multi-kill....or when you catch people badly out of position. But you have to have the game sense to look at your radar to know where people are, because you have to activate it AWAY from direct LOS.

1 ReplySkill with Outlaw is part timing. In the right spot at the right time, you will drop everyone in sight. Nothing more satisfying than that.

As a GG main I can tell you its fine. If they lengthened the time, especialy with outlaw, you could wipe a team easy. Sure Specrtal can wipe a team, but you cant insta shoot someone with it, and with Goldie, you can.

Timing is everything. Some players are really good at choosing when to activate Golden Gun and can use their jumping ability to pick off targets while airborne.

2 RepliesYo the infinite ammo in PvE is dope. Also why do people want supers to be STRONGER in pvp? PvE make them as strong as you want, but strong supers in pvp is super lame.

6 RepliesEdited by Eatz: 3/1/2019 6:42:44 PMDude, it one hit kills from any distance, and you can FAN FIRE it. Buffing it in any other way would make it op. Be sensible when you use it, and don’t pop the super when you’re a mile out of an enemy.

5 RepliesWell, I dunno about PvP, but in Gambit these goldies are just WTFPWNGE, dude comes in, wipes entire team, comes back with his super still on to kill a blocker.

2 RepliesYou have to learn to use it differently than other supers, and I think for six shooter you should get more time on the super with multi kills, but no overshield.
