Why is chaperone’s quest rng?
So I decided to find out how to get the chaperone so I watched a Vid and he says that for the quest to drop you need to be lucky. What the hay Bungie?!?! Why is the first quest step completely rng? Why not just make the gun drop like any other rng weapon? Or just make it drop like a normal quest and to get it, maybe get 10 packages from shaxx or something or rather.
You get my point right?

3 RepliesAccording to a Mentor who recently answered a post about this, it’s not actually RNG. In his words, there are “hidden requirements”, which just means that you need to play a lot of crucible. I’m sure it’s something that unlocks after you’ve done a certain number of matches. No, ten most likely won’t cut it.

2 RepliesI`m not sure if anyone else has said this yet (because I didn`t go far down the comments) but I got my quest after reseting my rank in Quickplay Crucible so thats probably how you`d go around getting the quest

Warlock got while in que for crucible titan was after some pve activity strike or something hunter still lvl 33 so nada really need to play hunter more I guess

I got it on all three of my characters when I got to the Dreaming City.

Is it? Weird. I got it right after I got Ace of Spades but that was still in september. Maybe they changed it since.

Im still waiting for it to drop. I did TLW quest, the AoS and everything you can do as solo player. But this freaking quest wont drop for me! Why bungie, why?

Everyone I know, including myself got it from finishing the intro mission to the Dreaming City.

Is all Intended in bun-hacks way to extend play time as much as ridiculously possible sheep.

2 RepliesIt’s Bungie’s MO, if they can prolong grind they’ll do it. D3 will be RNG to be able to load up the game to even start playing at purchase.
