We dont want a pinnacle sniper
More like a nice AR or submachine gun to make the weapon types relevant again
Edit: Side Arms have been nailed to the ground, i almost forgot about them. I wouldnt mind a useful and powerfully balanced sidearm to make an entrance back into Destiny!

Looks like a sniper for PvP and a shotgun for PvE. Hopefully the leak was correct and maybe it's backwards. We will see next week.

1 Reply...Breakneck? Breakneck is the most prevalent weapon in Gambit. It's very good. The Ringing Nail is also very good. The curated roll is nuts. I'd be down for an SMG, why not? Would really like to see a pinnacle sniper though. High Impact. Lukems pls.

It should be in the secondary spot. Gambit could be an smg. In primary slot. Vanguard could be a sidearm. In primary slot.

Until SMGs get a rework or a buff on where they stand within the sandbox, a shotgun will still kill you at their effective range. I'd say make a pinnacle scout rifle instead or a sniper. In worst case scenario, a pinnacle shotgun to indulge the meta even more.

1 ReplyA knife pinnacle, like a sword in the primary slot. I don't think we're fighting close enough yet. Smaller maps too, maybe we can just all stand in a 10x10 room and jab with knives. Sorry, but this 6v6 small map super close combat meta got stale 3 months ago.

It's going to be a sniper. The emblem for this season tracks grenade launcher kills AND sniper kills. Only reason I can think for that is the next weapon is sniper. Which I'm fine with. As long as it is in the secondary slot.
