[Solved-ish] Low FPS in D2 no matter what settings

Ever since upgrading my GPU from a GTX 950 to an RX590, I've never been able to play D2 again due to sub-30 fps performance, regardless of settings. I've set the game to the high preset, low preset, and my own from when I had the previous card, and they all average out around 25fps. Nothing else in the system has changed, and the install location has stayed the same since I first got the game. I've tried reinstalling the game multiple times. I've had no problem playing other games at high FPS (such as Apex Legends at ~75fps with high settings). Below are my system specs:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1600 Six-Core Processor RAM: 32,703 Mb Video Card: Sapphire Nitro+ Radeon RX 590 VRAM: 8 GB Driver Version: 25.20.15021.1007 DirectX Driver Version: 25.20.15021.1007 OpenGL Version: 4.6 Number of Monitors: 3 Number of Logical Video Cards: 3 Primary Display Resolution: 1920 x 1080 @ 144hz Freesync Enabled
Any help or explanation as to why this is happening would be great. EDIT: I've found the issue. In my computer I have a GTX 550 Ti that I use only for driving extra displays (so I don't use any extra Vram on my main GPU, the RX 590). For some reason Destiny 2 doesn't like this and drops to half the frames it should be at (I could confirm this after disabling the 550 Ti). It's a shame I have to choose between a game I like and productivity, so I guess I'll just be playing other games that are fine with this odd, but useful, configuration.

  • When playing the game, what is your VRam utilization showing?

    • Use DDU to uninstall nvidia drivers, you swapped graphics cards from nvidia to amd.

      • I don't know if this would help, but you can try clearing the Superfetch cache in Windows 10. It's under C:\Windows\Prefetch. This will reset your superfetch system - I noticed it helped with loading alot after I had mangled it through turning superfetch off and on and off again. Maybe it's doing something strange with your shaders and etc by sending them someplace where they can't be used now.
