It's so annoying when you're ahead and the opposing team gets to invade repeatedly with little to no penalty. If I wanted this crap I'd go play Mario Kart instead which is often one of that game's biggest criticisms. My suggestion would be to diminish the amount of health that a primeval gets back if the opposing team invades repeatedly in such a short period of time.

There are only 3 possible spawn points... you should be killing them before they can do much... You can melt a primeval in seconds... this shouldn’t be an issue... This is the only way the enemy team could disrupt and make the game mode competitive. Why take it out?
-
8 RepliesUh no? Good teams can stop invaders cold. It’s why they are changing spawns to make it easier for invaders cause they get spawn killed at high level games.
-
But, but catch-up mechanics for the plebs...
-
You have 2 invasion portals until you’re team has a prime evil if you want to kill prime kill the envoys that spawned with the prime evil

i love invading, even if the opposing team has no Motes or a weak Primeval, is kind of the only interesting Feature in Gambit, the rest is just waves of mindless adds the Invade timer should reset everytime you score a kill, that way we can torment the enemy team till they Rage Quit

5 RepliesYou're in the lead. Have all the time in the world, while the other team is trying to bank And you want no challenge? What do you want to steamroll? Get out.
-
2 RepliesYou're probably ahead by 40 motes. If you lose despite that lead, that's really on your whole team
-
4 RepliesNOOOO! I just got to the part of the ?malfesiense? quest where I need to get 4 kills in a row as an invader in 1 invasion and get 25 invader kills. I'm sure I'm not the only person on this part.

2 RepliesPart of the game pay attention be ready for the invader
-
They need to get rid of the overshield, they can already see you through anything the overshield is unnecessary
-
1 ReplyThey are limited...until the prime phase
-
4 RepliesFrankly I feel like invasion rules should reversed. You should be able to invade when your opponent reaches the score thresholds, not when you do. It just means you get to stomp all over teams that are already losing. Invasions should be a way to even the playing field, not further your lead.
-
2 RepliesTheir needs to be a limit on the invasions a cool down where the same person can't consistently invade over and over and if the thorn ties with killing the prime meatball the portals should not open for either side.
-
I eliminated all invasions because I don’t play that boring gamemode. ;)

Edited by Viguier: 2/24/2019 11:34:30 PMGetting invading each 30 seconds when you summon first is boring indeed.
-
They can't. A coordinated team can take out a primeval in 3 seconds. And I'm pretty sure celestial nighthawk with a melting point and a slayer buffx2+ can one shot the primeval

There's nothing like ambushing an enemy team with thunderlord, or hammers popped.
