We're a bit removed from year 1 iron banner and the ornament system but I think it was well implemented and liked for the most part. I would hope Bungie continues to use it to revamp the current gear. Another use for it would be to reintroduce some of our favorite gear in D1. For instance , the dreaming city stuff could be ornamented to allow us to re-equip the old Queens guard gear, likewise the tangled shore stuff can be ornamented to hold the old taken gear in D1. I'd even buy the ornamented Crota set from AoT directly. (God, that set was beautiful on a warlock) Reintroduce the old iron banner gear as ornaments so hunters can wear their wolf's head if they want. I'd also pay for silly stuff. A wolf's head to wear during iron banner. A saladin mask to wear in crucible. An ATV sparrow. A swan ride sparrow. A horsey head on a stick sparrow. A sheriff's badge warlock bond. A kick me sign hunter cloak. A Brawny-themed Titan dish rag thing with Shaxx's face on the front. (And zavala's on the back, lol) Emotes in the spirit of the collecting motes one. I know none of this can be implemented at the push of a button, but there's twenty bucks in it for you if you pull it off.
