Bungie, stop forcing pve players to play your awful competitive mode!

Make an alternative ways to acquire all those guns. You can even make some kind of lock, so we can’t use those weapons in crucible until we reach required glory rank. I personally don’t care about PVP that much. I don’t care about my K/D, rank, and all that sh*t, I just want to enjoy a freaking game that I paid my money for, just like everyone else here. This is pve game first and foremost. Imagine that in order to get BFG in Doom, you would be forced to win a 500 multiplayer matches, which has nothing to do with the main plot. PVP is just broken, unbalanced, repetitive and boring, especially with awful servers to ruins all the fun. If someone enjoy it, good for them, but in my opinion bungie should spent more time to create a quality pve content instead, there is a ton of PVP oriented shooters out there already. Give us bigger world, with some kind of ancient ruins to explore and additional characters to meet and interact with and etcetera… Edit: Ok, it’s pretty obvious, that a lot of people here don’t get the whole point of my post. Unfortunately, my English is far from perfect and it’s a little hard for me to construct and explain all my thoughts to you. Sorry for that! And also sorry if my post anyhow offend any of you dedicated PvP playes out there. 1) I already have a luna, and I pretty much like both it and redrix in PvE 2) I don’t have forsaken yet, but as you can see, I’m not crying about the forsaken or gambit gear I cannot get because of it. 3) Now to the PvP problems. Imagine you playing tennis with your friend, but your racquet has a big hole in the middle of it’s net, while his racquet are totally fine. Would you call this a fair challenge? And that’s the main problem here. The PvP in Destiny is a lottery for a lot of players. When you literally shoot half of the magazine at someone, and get insta killed from a couple of shoots from him second later. Or sometime you hits not even registrates. Or opposing team teleporting right behind you, and etc. How are you suppose to lvl up you glory points with atleast 50% of your matches going like that? I was lucky enough to get to the luna, but luck should not be a part of the challenge, isn’t it. Also some players just pay real money so they can be carried through those steps. Let’s be honest, my connection may not be great, but it’s works fine in other games that are actually PvP based. Overwatch works fine, lags happened, but not that often. CoD WW2 has some problems, but still works fine for the most part. Battlefield 1 despite a lots of going on the huge maps, has almost no issue for me in terms of lags and hit registrations. But Bungie always has some issues with their PvP (and will probably transfer them to D3). I experienced the same problems in Halo multiplayer, but at least there was no need for me to play it in the first place. I finished all Halos in legendary difficulty, which was really hard but fair and fun experience. It’s take patience, skill and thoughts to complete. D2 PvP is mostly RNG for me, unfortunately. And I know, I’m not the only one who see it this way. They could create separate missions, like the whisper quest, to get all those weapons instead of just lazy pvp rng grind quests… Like really guys, I’m not imply, in any way, to just give away those guns to everyone for free. PvP just not comparable to other activities like raids and nightfall, since NPC’s has no latency advantage over you.

 • You know, pvp players have made the same arguement about getting weapons from pve events. Perfect example: Ice breaker in the last month of D1. People didnt want to do the nightfall for it and demanded a pvp-related way of getting it. Heres the difference: why should there be a pve alternative for pvp-oriented weapons like last word? Since you have no intrest in pvp... how would having that make pve better? If they added pve and pvp alterantives in every exotics quest, theyd also have to make the weapons easier because theyd be easier to aquire, it would also belittle people who earned the weapon the proper way, either through pve or pve. Imagine grinding for hours to get a weapon and hearing a week later that you can then get it in 10 minutes by doing some strike. Theyd also have to change how every weapon works to suit that change, and make weapons weaker for pvp players to make them accessable for pve players.
