Warlocks: Top tree Dawnblade = Sitting Duck. Built to be an aerial combat specialist but all the guns in the game suck at aerial combat. Only Bungie could think of that one. Bottom tree Dawnblade = Useable. To use this super you have to give up Dawnblades neutral game. Well = PVP uselessness Top and Bottom tree Stormcaller = almost useless. Pop super count to 1, dude is still alive, count to 2, dude is still alive, count to 3 dude is dead and so are you. Middle tree Stormcaller = useless in PVP. Top tree Nova Bomb = Fat slow bomb. Pop Super and target runs from it or Pop super and someone shoots it down. Only useful in Mayhem. Bottom tree Nova Bomb = 10 foot range bomb. Too slow and has the range of a shotgun. Nova Warp = Nerfed into oblivian. Exotics for PVP? They all suck except for Transvers steps. Warlock melee = slowest in the game, Warlock movement = slowest in the game hence Transvers steps needed, Warlock Jump slowest in the game. In a game mode where movement is key Warlocks are a shitshow.

Still hunter since day 1. Weakest abilities damage wise for PvP.

[b]Hunters[/b] 1. By far best jump in the game. Instant activation and spam. Solid control and momentum. All made even better with the stompees exotic. Dragons shadow is also a good option. 2. Best shutdown super in the game (blade barrage). 3. Arguably the best roaming super in the game (spectral blades). As its paired with the best neutral game class. Removes you from enemy radar. Gives you wallhacks, allowing you to plan your attacks easily. Very high high damage resistance while invis. High super duration. 4. Both top tier supers get increased uptime through the exotics shards and gwisin. 5. Fastest charging class ability lets you disengage from gunfights frequently. Great grenades like smoke, swarm, tripmine and skip. Melees arent that great imo which is the same level as warlocks. [b]Warlocks[/b] 1. Worst jump in the game. Very slow and sluggish. Decent horizontal movement because of "warlock skating". Vertical movement is abysmal and a death wish. Blink is decent but you have very little control and has a cooldown timer so you cant spam it like the hunter jump. 2. Bottom tree dawnblade is good. Great movement and regens super on kills. BUT isn't that great in smaller maps and has hit registration problems 50% of the time. Requires skill, a decent aim and ability to control the super glide. Projectile travels slow and can be dodged fairly easily. This is the top tier super for warlocks. Other supers are ok but those are not meta, clearly if they were, everyone would be using them. Stormtrance has very poor mobility and slow ttk. Nova bomb is ok at best can get a kill or two, and half the time will completely miss the target. Chaos reach has decent super regen with geomag BUT you become a stationary target for a couple of seconds and you cant see shit, which REALLY doesn't help in pvp. Well of radiance is weak and can be one shotted with any special weapon. Requires skill and strategic placement, phoenix protocol benefits are minor. 3. Longest charging class ability. Slow activation time. Requires timing and strategic placement. Healing rift benefits are weak and regen can easily be countered with primary weapon ttk. You have to wait about a whole minute for this weak ability to regen. 4. Warlock exotics: Ophidians reload and provide handling and last time i used it gave my melee hit registration problems so it would have to hit guardians 4-5 times to kill. Transverse steps - reloads weapon when sprinting every 5 steps and buff sprint speed, the better option compared to ophidian imo. Transversives is pretty much the best warlocks can do in terms of the meta. Everything else is very lackluster. Maybe Nova warp was a crutch, but it a much needed one considering the state of warlocks in pvp. Isn't the hunter jump a crutch compared to the other classes?. It was a good trade off for warlocks imo, having a bad neutral game but also having a powerful super like nova warp to make up for it. Should it be buffed back to how it was before? No. But they went too far with the nerf. So hunters have the best neutral game, best roaming super, great exotics (had wormhusk). Warlocks have dawnblade...and thats it (which even has its drawbacks), everything else warlocks have is lackluster. Theres no downside or tradeoff to using a hunter in pvp, but there is many downsides to using warlocks. which is why hunters have always been meta.

I voted Titan. Everyone knows hunters are strangely strongest, and warlocks and titans are close. Now, I know warlocks neutral game is worse, but just warlocks supers, combined with their exotics, nudge warlocks ahead of titans. Warlocks have a few more good exotics than Titan. Honestly, rn their probably tied, but with the upcoming oem nerf...

Warlocks have both the weakest neutral game and the least effective, or honestly even viable, supers in PVP. Of our three roaming supers the only one that can even "compete" is now bottom tree Dawnbringer, since the over-nerfing of Nova warp and it still takes more hits to kill a roaming titan super, or a roaming hunter super than either of them take to end us. Additionally, as far as exotics go, the only ones warlocks have that are worthwhile picks in PVP are Ophidian Aspect, Crown of Temptests, Sanguine Alchemy and [i]maybe[/i] Skull of Dire Ahamkara, if you're ballsy enough to try and run Slova Bomb for shutdowns which is the most inconsistent experience in the game. To make that worse, none of these bring anything anywhere near the utility of OEM, Gwisin, Shards or Ursa. Hell, there's a better argument for running Stompies than there is for nearly any of the Warlock Exotics.

I said Hunter, and here's why. He said weakest in PVP overall. Hunters are amazing for skilled players for sure, but they're not great for noobs. If you can maximize the jump and the Dodge then they're truly amazing, but if you can't they're really average. They're pretty weak, and not really faster. Spectral is good, but the two tethers are very blah or worse in PVP. The solar choices are all good, but the whole Arc section is average at best. If you select one Arc super just to be sporty then you're looking at five out of nine useable supers. None of the grenades are good, and there is no one hit melee. Warlock is very similar, but I put it just a notch stronger than Hunter. People complaining about it all make very good points, but for me, it's just naturally easier to be strong with the warlock versus the Hunter. Titan is the easiest for any skill level to use, so I put it the strongest.

This is clearly biased and judging from your other posts and replies, you clearly just wanted your opinion validated. We know Warlocks arent in a good state according to all the whiners on the forums. 100% of people who took this poll knew what the results were going to be before they even participated. In simple words: Yeah, cool, we know. Add it to the pile of other posts that want warlock buffs because we know deep down, that this is the result you wanted.

Titans got OEM and supers, Hunters have various supers AND exotics. Warlock has nothing comparable to the other 2. Titanmain here (no OEM!) with a retired wlock at 650. Stats dont lie: Every crucible player has almost twice as many hunterkills compared to titankills. and wlock-kills are the least. not many wlocks in crucible but many OEM-titans and nightstalker-hunters...very funny....not.
