Last Wish "Petra's Run" Triumph failed because of error code guitar
Dear Bungie Support,
Thank you for reading this thread.
Today we tried a "Petra's Run" (Last Wish Raid) and started roughly around 23:30.
Circa 30 minutes later we reached the vault and a player left without coming back so we looked out for someone else.
At around 00:40 we got a new teammate who already completed the "Petra's Run" triumph.
With him we arrived at the the Queenswalk where we got the "guitar" error code and everyone of us got thrown into orbit.
We knew the run would probably not be continued but tried it anyway.
We loaded the Checkpoint and we managed to complete the rest of the Raid without dying. However, we didn’t get the triumph.
So we wondered if its possible to get the triumph added to our accounts without having to complete it again.

Nope, you didnt do a full run without dying while the challenge was active. Guitar is and has been a known issue since the raid released (almost 6 months now) it sucks but thats life.

Sorry man they don't work that way. I had a guitar code ruin my run at the Heart Run so I feel you, you just have to do it again. It took me a couple more tries but I finished it. Same with Scourge, we had to finish it twice flawless to actually get credit for it, Bungie doesn't like to fix their game. Gonna have to be skilled and lucky at the same time. A tip though, the guitar error code most commonly occurs when idle, finish the raid as fast as you can. Especially the heart run after riven, have the first person grab it as soon as it appears.

They're not going to do it sadly. They don't award triumphs or items even if a player has been screwed over. The Guitar error on Last Wish is actually a known error, for a few months now. Bungie said is was a nasty bug that they were having a hard time fixing. They also said that a fix is coming in March hopefully. I'm sorry to tell you, but they probably won't give it to you guys retroactively either. The "Like A Diamond" triumph for doing Scorge of The Past flawless was also bugged. When Bungie fixed it, they stated that they weren't going to award the triumph to players that already did it and that they would have to do it over again. Great game huh? I only need a Petras Run too, but I'm not touching it until its fixed. Sorry again man.
