WHY ARE FAN FICS THE ONLY POSTS IN LORE?!?
Instead of writing about creepy romance between a guardian and a BUG, why not post about LORE. This forum is called LORE. Stop with the fan fics!
Why can’t you people post stuff on here that you can’t find in game or in the app? Or how about little details you notice, or the scannable items throughout the system? Or theories about exotic weapons and armor, characters hidden agendas, theories about what happened to certain places, what made certain characters the way they are, and will we see more weapons of sorrow. There are so many things you can talk about, yet the only subjects here are fan fics. I used to come here to see people’s theories and ideas for characters and weapons and armor. All I’m saying is someone needs to purge this forum of fan fics, with [i]atomic fire.[/i]

A handful of good lore posts (it’s so sad, we need more good lore posts!), and conversations -ranging from the size of Zavala’s codpiece to conspiracies about the twenty characters who have been Savathûn in disguise the whole time- that don’t contribute to the lore at all (though they are fun to read) [spoiler]If it makes you feel any better, I’m planning on making lore posts again. I just need a little time to wrap up a couple.[/spoiler] I have nothing against you disliking ShadowheartMC’s story. That’s fine with me. But I’d like to say that interracial relationships have been a very common and very popular theme in many famous stories. Star Trek, Star Wars and Mass Effect are some examples. It’s the whole “love knows no bounds” theme and can encourage people in real life to not judge people based on their appearance or race. Be glad that it’s not one of those absolutely disgusting, perverted stories that can be found outside Destiny Companion. And I have to commend Shadowheart for her phenomenal use of in-game dialogue to tell the story. That’s better lore-usage than most people can pull out of their heads. Thanks for listening to the rant. I look forward to reading more of your lore posts. Your talents are wasted on an anti-fanfic post

7 Replies<People get tired of my "outlandish" theories about the Darkness and the Nine real quick. It's my specialty as it falls in the category of "enemies and mysteries". But what can I say that hasn't already been said? Fallen lore is easy, Vex lore hasn't gotten any clearer, and Cabal lore has been talked about a lot in the past year. That leaves Hive, which is more or less theorizing about what comes next, the Darkness (which I've already talked about to death), and the Nine... see previous item. The Shadows of Yor are nothing and Shin's motives are pretty clear now. All that's left is that entity the Drifter's hiding but all theories stop dead until March.>

Atomic fire won’t be enough. We all wish Bungie would make a separate forum for us. And I see that probably more than half of the posts in Lore are fanfics. That should be Bungie’s hint that there’s a problem.
