You can get the lore cards whether the event is heroic or not. And making it heroic doesn't increase the drop chance at all.

Nah took me 2 hrs to do heroic cryo pod cuz randos go in and wipe the wanted boss before u can do anything, ppl just don’t care anymore

Still not worth it on Tangled Shore. The Heroic Cryo Pod events take way too much longer to justify only one additional Ghost Fragment. Best way to do it is: melt the boss, collect rewards, reload into same area to catch the event in a new instance.

That is extremely selfish. People have quests that need it heroic. Heroic can give Variks lore pages, normal cannot. Lots of reasons to make it heroic, only the one reason to burn the boss asap...

Edit: And what's selfish is expecting others to play the game the way you want it to be played. If Bungie wanted people to make the events heroic, they would give better rewards for doing so. But until they do, -blam!- it.
