The New PvP?
So now we fight against our fellow guardians by trying to make the cryo-pod Heroic while they melt the boss.
This is the new PVP.

You supposedly got a higher chance for an exotic in year one, and although the drop rate seemed to be the same as regular versions, people didn't take the chance most of the time and turned them heroic. Granted, exotics were a pretty dumb reward for public events, but there has to be a main incentive to run them. In Destiny 1 I would grind them out for motes to hand in for rep, or level up a weapon. Well, I did that until they nerfed the amount you got, and then switched to PoE 28. Anyway, motes, good amounts of XP and glimmer, chances at exotic shards, and a chance for an engram. Those were pretty decent incentives to run events, but now they give you a material, maybe even a blue, but you get that no matter what version you run. They made events too rewarding, and then they destroyed them. Bungie has a major issue with going from one extreme to another, and it isn't just events...

Lol. Yep. Its been a challenge to keep the boss alive long enough. Allowing friendly fire would make this interesting. 😁

sad thing is, it's more enjoyable than the actual pvp.

2 RepliesJust think, (supposed rumor) Destiny 3 is gonna have PvEvP events while in patrol areas. So at least you'll be able to kill them, or get killed by them. :)

I didn’t know how to get the heroic and melted the boss in about 15 seconds of lots of super/heavy in front of six other people camping the zone

They all would kill you, loot your corpse for 2 tokens and a blue, they already sold their mother for less. Do not forget that many guardians do not hesitate to Tea Bag their opponents in PVP while their may be allies in the next game.

This is the new PVP.[/quote] Mostly noobs or guardians trying to finish a black armory frame and collect radiant seeds if mission goes heroic and on tangled shore enemy is frozen so no seeds.
