yep. same here.
exotics are same way. rather than use the 650 version that just dropped.....i infuse it into my low light one that has a bunch of kills on the tracker.
i have a near god roll Go Figure. but i just got it and can't really bring myself to give up the Go Figure that i have 2500 kills on.

Exotics for sure but you can bet your last bullet that god roll > kill count. Better perks means I can likely earn and surpass the kills on the weapon I'm replacing. I do also have a vault full of year 1 weapons that I'll likely never use again but keep due to kill counts (and a few in no longer available elements)
