What is the best primary weapon?
In raid and all over. Need some help to figure out

Slap your best shotgun in that top spot (Parsel of Stardust). Use a boss-ass exotic in the middle (Void bow). Machine gun from the Forges. You're good to go.

3 RepliesFirst off: Kill clip or rampage instantly makes a gun 100% more viable in PvE. For high level PvE content, auto rifles seem to have the best overall dps output. The king of auto rifles is the Breakneck, but a good roll on a Hazard or Tigerspite will work pretty well. If you have an open exotic slot, the health regeneration on the Suros Regime can be a literal lifesaver. People really love pulse rifles for raid content as well. Many people have suggested the Go Figure and Blast Furnace, but I'm not the biggest fan of the 4-shot burst. Personally, I like the 450 RPM for the increased movement speed. If you don't have a Chattering Bone from the raid, try getting the updated Nightshade from completing Vanguard bounties. Hand cannons are up for debate. I've been maining the HC since D1, and I really like using them in the raid. Grab a Midnight Coup from your collections if you want increased movement speed, or get yourself a Better Devils with kill clip. I will also use a Waking Vigil from time to time, but I won't argue that it's the optimal choice. Bungie keeps buffing scout rifles in PvE, but they just aren't there yet in terms of raw dps. The Polaris Lance is going to be your absolute best option if you want to use a scout rifle. My final golden rule for PvE. DON'T USE BOWS! Hope this helps.

My go to is usually tigerspite with outlaw/kill clip. Sometimes switch it up with bygones/go figure with outlaw. Or duke with outlaw. Pretty much anything with outlaw

For pve anything really works, for pvp you only have lunas howl/ not forgotten and a few pulse rifles. Scout rifles are decent now but the maps in destiny sucks so they are more situational than anything.

If you go by PvP sweaty apers it's dust rock blues apparently.

There isn't a "best" weapon in D2. All have positives and negatives. Blast furnace Lunas Breakneck Bygones Etc All have situations where they can excel or suffer. Find what works for you.
