So in the Hunter gambit gear's lore tabs, it talks about his massive handcannon and it's monstrous bark that rings out and it repeats this line and the fact of him using the guns from the enemies we kill in gambit for scrap on the headpiece and the cloak. My question is what is this handcannon? At first I thought it was the handcannon in his waist belt thing but it's sorta small, and looks like trust which to me anyway looks smaller then other handcannon, then malfeasance popped up and came to mind but it ain't that big plus the sound of it isn't something I'd call a "bark". Then our lovely thorn came to mind since it's sorta related to drifter in a way, it's big (at least in the front) and if I remember right it had a bit of a deep sound when it shot but idk.
I'ma bring this up that in the Titan set, it involves drifter robbing a train and he finds a crate of Tex mechanica weapons and picks up a handcannon to inspect and it says he takes all he can carry so this handcannon may be the one he uses who knows

reading into stuff to deeply intensifies
1 ReplyThe First Curse is Tex Mechanica and the same size as TLW (huge). Don't remember the sound though bc I never got the First Curse in D1

The First Curse?

4 RepliesIf it’s a “massive” hand cannon, then I want it as an exotic hand cannon that’s goes in the HEAVY slot, so I can run not one, not two, but THREE hand cannons! We can run three sniper, three shotguns, even three grenade launchers, so let us be able to run three hand cannons!

1 ReplyAs others have commented, it could be First Curse. First Curse was Tex Mechanica made during the Taken War period so it's reasonable to believe that they could have some still in stock. On the topic of using scrap from the enemies, I believe that is more towards maintenance and breaking down materials to fix-up the gear we obtain, and fixing/building the Banks and maintaining the Derelict. It could also simply just be his own personal Dark-Age piece that he's had since he was first Risen, since he has been around since the Dark Ages.

3 RepliesThorn was more like a *ting ting ting* noise when fired.

God dammit. It's probably the first curse

4 RepliesI don't think he is using thorn. considering the dialogue he has about the malfeasance not being thorn but being close enough makes it sound like he wishes he had the thorn.

I'ma say it's either trust or the Tex mechanica one he took

2 RepliesLooks like Trust.

I’d imagine it’s trust, only because of the fact that he’s got distant relation on his back and the ring on the grip of trust kinda shows in his waistband
