I knew the super needed a nerf but after playing a few matches its not even worth using anymore. It takes longer to charge now and it barely last 7-8 seconds. Moving slower allows anyone to escape now which means getting kills is almost impossible, for some reason you still get taken away a lot of super for even blinking once so whats the point of even using the blink from the super? The super seriously got gutted and yet I still see blade barrage dominating like its all good, well whatever for anyone wanting to try nova warp, don’t bother. Dawnblade is the new best super for warlocks
Edit: just found out the devour perk got secretly nerfed, wow another reason to never try the bottom tree nova bomb lol.
Edit#2: so I’ve seen some really nice ideas on the forums that really awesome players have given as feedback and If I was to balance the nova warp I would have massively reduced the armor, reduced the speed when holding a charge and obviously not allowing the nova warp to kill through walls. If the super lasted too long then the 6 second cool down nerf was needed however the blink now cant even be used, the blink should not take away a crazy amount of super as it does now. So I leave it to bungie to decide wether to leave the super cool down as it is and buff the blink so it takes a lot less super or buff the super back to however long (maybe a little less obviously) it lasted and leave the blink as it is since it takes a tremendous amount of super for even using it once.
These are just my ideas to balance the class, I know a lot of players feel different and rather never see nova warp again but I am a huge believer of balance and viability. I don’t want warlocks to be the best class, I want all classes to be insanely good in their own right.
