Listen.
We ALL miss using [b]Plan C[/b], and [b]Bad Juju[/b], and [b]Fatebringer,[/b] etc.
We ALL miss the[b] VoG[/b], the Deathsinger in [b]Crota,[/b] etc.
We ALL miss the [b]kickass[/b] armor system we[b] finally[/b] ended up with.
But you NEED to stop.
You need to stop en masse saying "Oh I miss these Y1 weapons" and "I miss the Y1 crucible maps"
You don't[b] understand the harm[/b] you're doing.
[b]You're making it okay for them to NOT try [/b]
Destiny 1, is STILL on this generation of Machine. You can still pop it in and play.
It isn't like playing a last gen game. You can literally hop in and play like it was 2015.
Which is GREAT. So DO that. PLAY THAT.
But the more you show how easy it is to please you? The more drip fed content you're going to receive.

Listen, you've a right to enjoy getting a gun you earned 3 times before. In fact, I ENCOURAGE YOU to enjoy that.
But that type of stuff in standing DIRECTLY IN THE WAY of NEW CONTENT.
The more you let them release 1 quest, with 1 gun, that's from the first game

Edit - IMO The only thing that would work for me, is if all of D1 content was brought forward for FREE.

When I got Worldline I used it for a few minutes and put it in my vault because too me it just doesn’t feel fun or interesting to use at all, I mean that’s bad judgement on my part it’s probably not as bad as I make it out to be but I don’t know if you’ve seen or played with someone who was using Worldline but I sure haven’t. I’m sure you’ve probably played D1 and know of Dark Drinker, Raze Lighter and Bolt Caster now those were swords that were fun and interesting to use. I remember using Dark Drinker on Aksis in the Wrath of the Machine raid, well to be honest I used all 3 just about everywhere. In destiny 2 I don’t really see anyone using swords, I’ve seen a few black talons here and there but otherwise not really. Just imagine how fast those bathers or royal beasts will get melted with those swords, shit even some of the last wish bosses. Now on vigilance wing. I’m not saying It’s bad either but in pvp I’d still rather use a bygones or a blast furnace same for pve. In D1 you had bad juju, red death, no time to explain and outbreak prime. All of these I used in either pve or pvp because I felt they were fun and interesting to use especially outbreak prime. I understand bringing back old content is stale but most of the exotics in D2 feel or are inferior to D1 exotics. I will probably get hate for this but this is just my take on why I would like some D1 exotics back or more I should say

1 ReplyNo, I will not stop. I am allowed to want what I want and ask for it. You’re allowed to complain about people asking stuff. Fair game for all. Some of us veteran players never wanted a new game, we wanted whatever the D2 was to just be a big DLC and expand on the existing material. That said, I cannot to back to D1 and play it because it’s missing what’s in D2 to feel complete so far down the line. And D2 feels incomplete as well without all the stuff I came to love and enjoy from D1. It should have been the same game. Old content, new content. All of it.

4 RepliesWhat your not understanding tho, is that we aren't paying for TLW and the likes as new content. Bungie promised us that gear from year 1 would be relevant in year 10. They had to reboot the game. They had to find a way to keep that promise. During the lifespan of d2, they can yes...drip feed...a simple, easy...lore involved quest like TLW, and it's not considered us paying for old content. It's not a DLC called The Last Word. However, the mundane and boring actual new content ( black armory ) was less impressive. So if we doing old school vs new school....I'm going wit old school... TLW quest was funner than the forge. The game is in a very bad place. That is not anyone's fault, but Bungie's. Not because they listen to nostalgic posts....not because they listen to Nerf posts....not because they catered to casual/hardcore... Simply because they blew their opportunity. They missed...and they missed from the very start. They swung and missed on D1 as well people. D2 = strike 2 Yes... regardless if you swung at 2 balls that bounced in front of the plate....you still have an opportunity to hit a home run...or strike out on the 3rd pitch ( D3 ) To be fair...they did make contact and hit a dribbler foul...it was late...so it went down the 1st Base line.... ( Forsaken )

2 RepliesSome people are never happy we what they get. No matter how much more they are getting. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with being content with something and wanting just a little extra. Also some people don’t think D2 is or will be good. So why not ask for something small, the LW or other easily importable content. Much easier to do than making newer content.

7 RepliesThe way I look at TLW is thus... - Its a fan favourite, arguably iconic Exotic. - It came in a DLC that contained 4 other brand new Exotics, two of which are [i]really[/i] good, one is very unique in how it works and the fourth one is Le Monarque. I'm not surprised it came back. I'm not surprised Thorns coming back. I wont be surprised if they resurface yet again in D3. I'll be even less surprised if Gjallarhorn rears its head again.

You have lost the right to complain about anything in the game and you don't know what the community wants/needs because your not a part of it anymore. You at least played some of D1 and that's the only reason I'm not telling you tot go back to fortnight

Right? When I want to play D1 I go play D1.... I quickly get tired of running around in the crucible with a sidearm though due to all the nerf herders D1 had.... which is the same path D2 is going down. Won't be long before sweet business/sidearm, wish ender/sidearm is meta 🤣

Jotunn was ALMOST the dragon's breath I wanted. The burn isn't anything good. Graviton lance was icebreaker 0.7 at first. I and others want more d1 gear back because it was good, memorable, and should have been carried over anyways. At the very least we should have been able to get back any exotics in our d1 collections back after red war campaign. Maybe have them "broken" and we use our to fix em with the same or updated perks. Imagine the crazy catalysts bungie could make for d1 stuff. But no, we don't want old stuff we know we liked. We wanna complain about our new stuff. Nerf Jotunn, nerf acrius (member?), nerf shards, nerf gwisen, nerf worm husk, nerf one eyed (do it cause screw em), nerf nerf nerf. 1 ReplyI'm okay with them bringing back old stuff, on two conditions: 1: There has to be a majority of new stuff. A few old things is fine. All old things is a problem. 2: Transform the old content in some way. If it's a weapon, make it way stronger than it was (Thunderlord). If it's a raid, change the encounters a bit idk. Be transformative. [spoiler]They are allowed to reuse things that [b]they created[/b]. As long as they don't just copy/paste everything.[/spoiler]
