Edit: the replies in here just show the mentality of the pvp crowd, you really are a salty bunch of know it alls.
Read properly before you spout your drivel.
I was just reading another guardians post about being banned from pvp for poor internet.
How exactly can you justify hiding quests and flashpoints behind pvp, then banning people with poor internet from pvp for going in there against their will?
I completely avoid pvp because my rural internet can’t manage destiny’s crummy pvp setup (all other games are fine). I used to go in for the flashpoints, then decided I wasn’t going to put myself through that for bungies grind machine.
I did force myself through the ace of spades quest because I knew it would be worth it.
At any point I could have been banned trying to play the game how bungie require.
It’s a ridiculous situation caused by bungie’s rules, requirements and programming.

You are not forced to do pvp. He chose to do the exotic quest. You think that is unfair? Guess how it feels when someone is teleporting everywhere while invincible killing everyone. Flashpoint is not pvp. Not even remotely close to pvp. There are 4 exotic quests behind pvp. Then think of every single other exotic in the game. Then realize those are all PvE. Chaperone (Crucible weapon, TLW (Crucible Weapon), Malfeasance (Not so much crucible weapon but it is from Gambit which is a little PvP), and Ace of Spades (Both Crucible and PvE).
