Everyone talks about Xur being useless, but what about my girl Amanda Holliday!?
I mean she makes ships and sparrows but then Tess sells all the badass stuff lol

Bungie made most of the NPCs in D2 useless. Lazy on Bungos part. NPCs in D1 offered so much more. Its like Bungo had a great thing with D1, and then they threw it in the garbage with D2.

Xur is only useless to players who have spent 100's of hours playing already. Amanda is useless from day 1. Don't ever put my boy Xur in the same sentence as another NPC who is TRULY worthless, bud.

Cuz sparrows and ships are just glorified laoding screens. Ships get you from planet to planet, sparrows get you from the laoding area in Dreaming City to the other two because Bungie is oblivious to the fact that everything's been discovered now.

Always thought she should be able to reroll sparrows and sell cool ships.

Amanda was more useful in D1. The only thing I do with her in D2 is talk to her when quests pop up and if I get multiple transnational effects. Of course now we have collections so I really don’t need that anymore. Wish she would sell sparrow mods and reroll a or something. Or sparrow trail effects!

I used to have bounties to work on from my from Amanda. From my Faction. From Shaxx. Heck even just regular old Daily’s from some little robot bitc#. Now? Wtf...? Wtf happened to this game???

Holliday needs some love. She is an interesting NPC and it would be great to make her more than just a special event quest step.

In D1 when it released Amanda Holliday was being used somewhat as her intended purpose. Running Patrol every once in awhile a schematic dropped, you took it back to Amanda Holliday to get whatever ship that was offered. After a few months Bungie removed that and she's been as useful as the sweeper bot for 4 years now. Looking at the vendors in this game, they either are not being used as their intended purpose, have not been updated or have an empty inventory. It's 2019, Bungie needs to get with the program and stop using them mainly just as a bounty placeholder.
