Weapon slotting.

So would any one object to the idea of getting rid of the whole kinetic and energy slots and replacing them with just weapon slots ? Like able to have two kinetic or two energy weapons equipped with the first slot being the "primary" slot the weapon that is shown when in the menu and cut scenes and the gun you go back to swapping from heavy but can be a energy weapon and a "secondary" slot being what ever else you want in it be AR, PR, SR, and so on like now but be a kinetic weapon. I feel that will just give us more gun diversity cause say you wanna use say a Trust lets go with Trust you got a good rolled Trust you wanna use but when you go to raid you are told to use the EP shotgun and what ever kinetic you want. New system can use that Trust and the EP shotgun.

  • Why would anyone ever use a kinetic weapon then?

    • Using two elemental weapons on top of heavy, which is always elemental may be considered imbalance. Though honestly I don't see this as a problem, only AI has elemental shield. But I wouldn't mind to be able to equip two kinetics, because Ace of Spades is kinetic and my go-to-anywhere kinetic is Hazard of the Cast. Hence Ace gathers dust in vault.
