Nope. A router will shut off if it's being pushed to the point something will cause problems. They have these fancy things called safety features designed to protect it. A dos attack isn't going to do that.

Definitely wasn't a dos issue.
Definitely wasn't a dos issue.
If you were in denial, then yes.

Edited by FataLVisioN_Oo: 2/1/2019 3:30:36 AMOr you have no clue what you are talking about. I've been using the same router since D1. It's definitely not bricked nor has it ever had any problems from being dos'd. It would be pretty hard for the kiddies to "break" your router seeing when they dos you offline it's a singular cpu attack. That's not going to have the gigabytes on top of gigabytes you keep talking about. You aren't google here.

Edited by FataLVisioN_Oo: 2/1/2019 3:39:30 AMIt really is. You think a dos attack that people use primarily in trials which isn't a thing and comp is going to send gigabytes on top of gigabytes worth of data and somehow magically break your router. One cpu can't send gigabytes on top of gigabytes worth of data fam nor are you google and worth that kind of coordination between 100's of people. A dos attack is 1 cpu..... shows how much you know 😘

Edited by FataLVisioN_Oo: 2/1/2019 4:17:50 AMNever said it wasn't. A dos attack is a single cpu attack not capable of these gigabyte upon gigabyte attacks you speak of that are "breaking" your routers. Didn't know you were google and worth coordinating 20,000 cpus to hit you with that much traffic 😂🤣. You are literally the only person in destiny that has had their router "break" from a tiny dos attack. Crazy you even got dos'd once in the 300 games you've played much less multiple times. Especially since only like 20 of those games played are in the competitive playlist where the booters lurk.
