1). They’re the ones who rediscover what was once thought to be lost. It’s Hunters that find all these lost locations and secrets.
2). Hunters save more lives than Titans and Warlocks combined. Without Hunters, millions of refugees would have never made it to the City. Without Hunters, many of their fellow Guardians would’ve fallen to ambushes, traps, etc. Without Hunters, those sad, sad little Warlocks and Titans would tear each other apart.
3). Most of the interesting stories in the Lore wouldn’t exist if Hunters didn’t.
4). They make Eva Levante happy with their fashion sense. Well dressed Guardian = happy space grandma.

Eh nah. Hunters and Titans are even.

11 RepliesWithout Titans no city

Hunters are the ones that typically go behind enemy lines and find this stuff Titans are the figurative “wall of humanity” and are on the defensive Warlocks are warrior scholars that seek to understand their enemy

14 RepliesAs a hunter main I agree with this post strongly, but bungie loves titans more.. there's a reason there a more famous or infamous titans alive than there are hunters that are famous alive. Because hunters are kind of shafted. But hunters have always been and always will be the better looking class and more fun.

12 RepliesActually, keep in mind the super important battle of the 6 fronts, where 4 orders of Titans held off 6 different fronts (which is actually where the design of their insignia comes from, cool considering the other 2 classes don't have a backstory to their logo) and succeeded. Many legends were present that day. And then we also have the Battle of Twilight Gap where, give a loud round of applause to my main Crucible Man, LOOOOOORD SHAAAAAAXX, actually disobeying orders in an effort to retake the mountain they were at. Hey, anyone remember Ana Bray, somewhat famous hunter gunslinger? Faked her death just so she could play with a warmind that, as of late, has yet to do squat for us? Yeah, I thought so. I'll give Osiris, a warlock, this much. He impressed a Titan. But not just any Titan, THE Titan, my main bubble exotic mainstay back in D1, Saint-14. The man who fought entire houses of Fallen, and even headbutted a kell and killed it. So famous that he is even respected by the Drifter, who refuses to believe that Saint-14 is actually dead. I don't blame him. Hey, remember what happened to Cayde-6 and Andal? They got whooped by 1 very large captain. Taniks. I'm pretty sure some of my Titan brothers here remember a very special kind of treatment we gave Taniks during certain strike weeks, a melting point, sun charge spam kind of treatment. Hell, remember 1 shotting the Walker tank in that strike too? As a Titan? With shoulder charge? What's that, hunters couldn't do that? That's a pity. And we also have legendary figures like Thalor (who was killed by a coward using the Thorn, any who touched such evil weapons shall be subjected to having their body be used as a snow board and will be ridden down Felwinter peak). The legendary Wei Ning, whose strength was unsurpassed. We have slightly less famous, but notable figures like Vel Tarlow, who was a Titan that worked diligently in the Pilgrim Guard, before being swept by Ariana and her hive shenanigans, AKA the first, failed raid on Crota. I think it failed because there was too many warlocks and hunters, only 1 Titan. Anyways, the man died fighting a near, literal sea of Thrall. Pretty horrifying way to go. Especially when your light is barely there. Folks like Kabr, who are sole reason why the Vault of Glass could even be conquered. Aegis shield anyone? And don't forget this. Titans are the only group that do not use Ahamkara bones to gain power. We were happy to hunt them to presumed extinction, but to use bones for power? Amateurs! We have the Sunbreakers, who while being strange for Titans, did so for an actually considerably good purpose. Though not too much is known about their activities, it is known that they always stayed on the side of light, and did aid during the initial battle to retake the moon, even though the sad fate of the end of that battle would be remembered most. There are many more Titans, whose actions may not resonate quite as loud as the rest, but regardless, are still important. And let's not forget, most important of all: Rezyl Azzir. Whoes kind would come to be known as the Titans. A member of the Risen, as they were known at the time, before guardians. And then we have the hunters who watched one too many pre golden age flicks in the genre known as "Westerns". I have more evidence, but for the time being, I rest my case. Oh, also, let's not forget. Our Ghost knew Saint-14. To what level, we don't know, but the two have definitely interacted at some point. One more thing. During the Dawning, Eva had a lot of comments about being glad that Titans were there, some of her idle dialogue while being close to her where that of thanks and the mere presence of the Titan making her feel comfortable. Though some of the civilians are rude, with dialogue such as"I thought Titans were supposed to protect us, what happened during the Red War"? FYI civilian, the ENTIRE STONEBORN ORDER DIED MAKING SURE EVERY LAST CIVILIAN POSSIBLE ESCAPED. Their doctrine is to die defending the Last City. And the Sunbreakers, are also all gone. Those who wield the Hammer of Sol, wield it proudly, and let none ever doubt its power. Also the Peacekeepers, whose group, while consisting of many guardians and presumably classes, would have no doubt been dominantly Titan seeing as the focus on protecting the Last City, both from the inside and outside threats, are also all dead too. Not surprisingly, many hunters were not at the City during the attack. But hey, at least the Firebreak order saved the Fire Victorious, and makes for one of the cooler ghost shells in the game. You hunters also got nothing on our sword slamming technique.

1 ReplyIm a hunter main but id say its even. Saint 14s helmet would have something to say about it, as would ulan tan?

1 ReplyHuntards are the Kardashians of destiny

5 RepliesJust gotta say there is a reason there are more legendary titans then hunters

5 RepliesSee but from a practical entirely unbiased stand point: Titan Master race. Also a Titan beat a gunslinger in a dual of hand cannons, which I find hilarious.

This is why we need to build a dedicated server

18 RepliesMost of the "legendary hunters are dead" why do you think that is? Cayde, one of the best hunters around got tackled out of his golden gun by the equivalent of a dreg. Hunters aren't that great. Warlocks are the real deals. Toland, Osiris, Ikora. Those are some guardians you wouldn't want to even challenge unless you had an army.

Hmm...false. Good try though.

Edited by Andrashimmortal: 2/1/2019 5:01:26 AMRegarding 2, Titans are the ones that actual defend. Hunters guided many, but Titans fended off the Fallen, and there was even the lore page on Ursa Furiosa where a Titan fended off an entire small army of Fallen in order to save about a hundred refugees. Also, Hunters may find secrets, but many of those are deciphered, translated, catalogued, etc. by Warlocks. All three have all been equally level as far as keeping humanity alive is concerned. Also, I find the Hive lore more interesting than anything regarding Guardians, frankly.

7 RepliesI only play hunter so don’t think I am being bias but Titans did kind of save the city from the Fallen which could have resulted in millions of deaths. Titans are like the protectors with the Hunters obtaining the thinness to protect. Meanwhile, Warlocks just sit in Vegan coffee shops, barefoot, discussing how great they are.

8 Replies<Ah, one forgets the legendary Saint-14, who not only defended the City, but went on a crusade when the Fallen got TOO close. Also he killed so many Vex that they made a god damn tomb out of respect when he died.>

7 RepliesI've always thought of them as; Hunters: explorers/rangers Titans: protectors/solders Warlocks: researchers/wizards

2 RepliesActually they are important so Lords Shax and Saladin have a purpose. Without Hunters the crucible would have fallen into rubble from lack of participation.
