Just opened Gofannon on my hunter. Frame requires compound ether. 15-25 mins on Nessus, equal amount of time on Titan. No Compound Ether.

It appears u can just abandoned that frame to continue unlocking forges, once u killed the giant tanky servitor the forge unlocked, I abandoned sniper frame and picked up hand cannon frame to continue, izanami frame quest dropped from vex when I was charging the HC frame. Granted you have to get a ballistics log to pick up a new frame... It is a work around.

I have already opened GoFannon with my titan and started the forges with my Hunter. I had this same problem and was thinking the same thing. Thanks for suggestion. I have moved past that sniper frame but was hoping to do it again for a better roll.
