You only need above a 0.5 KDA in order to complete the TLW quest
1 Kill/Assist = 2%
1 Death = -1%
If you were to play 100 games, each game you played, you only got 1 Kill/Assist then died less than 2 times, you would have completed the quest.
Now, obviously, that seems quite ridiculous. Who would ever want to play 100 Crucible matches for just one weapon?
To avoid that, make sure that your Death Count is less than twice the amount of your Kills/Assists. In a game that is all about “killing the thing that is trying to kill you”, the survival mindset should come natural to you.
THIS NEXT BIT IS MY HONEST OPINION. Let me reiterate. MY OPINION. Don’t get your negative KDA in a twist.
If you can’t manage above a 0.5 KDA each game, then maybe TLW isn’t a gun for you. Like in D1, it can still be considered a “higher skill weapon.” Even if it DOES take you 100 matches of Crucible to finish the quest, using the gun will not be the most enjoyable thing in the world. If anything, it’ll probable make you perform worse in Crucible. So why complain about a quest that gives you a high skill weapon when (most likely) you’re not going to enjoy using the gun in the first place?
Just being curious.
