Locked out of getting the last word weapon
I can not play crucible. I’m just absolutely crap at it. I’m very lucky if I get one kill let alone two !!!
I’ve tried it since day one and I’ve never improved either. So how will I get it. I’ve paid for it ? Hope it drops as an exotic

Every weapon should be made available even if it’s the lowest grade of the gun. Put a tassel on it so people know you got it as a freebie

In case you actually want to improve as a crucible player. Some of the videos attached are really good for making you a better player. What is your preferred PVP load out? Go into private matches to learn names of map locations, good for when you play in a team. That can help with map knowledge and then you can also practice jumps and how to travel around the map. Playing in the mornings can be easier than in the evenings. Using meta weapons and a strong offensive super definitely helps. If you cant find good people in LFG to play with, its probably because their skill level is better than yours (no offense meant), I also run into this issue. I have an approximate 1.2 KD and 1.7 KDA. I try to use solo matchmaking help me find friends. If you play a match and you like one or two people you played with, send them a "GG" good game, and ask if they would like to party up and play together. Why I think this is a good idea, Bungie matched you up with them, they probably have a similar skill level and are in a similar spot in grinding glory. Learn strategies for "Countdown", usually kill an enemy and rush the survivors. Don't arm the bomb unless you kill one of theirs first. Practice in Rumble or QP new weapons and supers. Probably common knowledge, If you are the only one with a super, that can be a great time to use yours. No one around to counter you easily with a super of their own. Also you start generating orbs for your team mates so they can get their supers going. A word of advice. Run behind other players on your own team, shooting any enemies you see. You will get credit for assisted kills as well as any you kill on your own. If you see a rush coming towards you, turn and run, don't be shy about it. Just play smart and you will complete that step faster than you think. Begging for something to drop because you paid for it is going nowhere. Everyone else paid for it too. But some things have to be earned. Not everything comes with a participation medal.

3 RepliesI’ve been using it in PvE. The gun looks good, but is a step down from every other legendary hand cannon. If you can’t handle crucible you don’t need it. I have to play the raid to get 1k voices and get my exotic collection complete, but instead of complaining that I have to put effort in I just do it

6 RepliesI’m with you! Just looked it up. My kd is 0.33. Which I think is higher than it was for D1. I’m 63. I do the best I can. Regardless - DO THE MATH. That means - out of every 100 engagements - I get a kill 33 times and die 67 times. So - for the BULLSHIT quest to get the Last Word: if you get 2% for each kill and -1% for each death: 2 x 33 = 66% -1 x 67 = -67% 66 - 67 = -1% Which mathematically PROVES the quest is impossible for anyone with a 0.33 kd ratio. Comparing this to real play - it makes sense. I've played 15 matches and am still sitting at 1%. For anyone at my level - THE QUEST IS IMPOSSIBLE. THE BOTTOM LINE - not everyone can have good kd. It's not mathematically possible. There have to be winners and losers. For every 2.3 kd- there's gonna be a shitload of people like me getting SCREWED. And Bungie doesn't care. They just wanna bend over and LICK THE ASSHOLES of all the sweaty little tryhards at the expense of SCREWING the rest of us. SCREW BUNGIE

Dont farm for a pvp gun if you dont play pvp.

It is a gun meant for PVP. If you are terrible at PVP, then you do not need the gun.

The best advice I can give is play passively, only go after a kill if you know you can get it, if not just hide or hit them and hide, assists count as progress as well so you can do it that way, it’s a slow way but it is a way. The other way is play with a group, let them get kills or let them help you get kills, it isn’t a hard quest, it’s just time consuming, so it’s up to you how much time you wanna invest in getting the gun.
