Cozmo and I are currently collecting some feedback on Sniper Rifles. We have been for some time, but we wanted to centralize the source of feedback to an extent.
Do you have feedback on Sniper Rifles? Are there any QOL style improvements that you'd want for this weapon archetype? What currently works well, and what would you want to see changed?
This does not guarantee any specific changes will be made, but we wanted to ensure your thoughts are properly represented when we pass feedback along to the team.
Quick note, Rapid Fire Sniper Rifles will be receiving a buff tomorrow. Currently, Guardians require 3 body shots to be defeated, tomorrow this will be reduced to 2 body shots. With that in mind, are there any other changes you'd like to see?

Hey Bungie team! I played a bit of crucible with snipers recently and I noticed a few glaring issues: 1. The maps don’t allow you to even scope in against Shotguns in 50% of the areas 2.the flinch was unbearable in a 2-3 shot primary meta 3. Killing someone isn’t as effective as Shotguns because you cannot collect ammo as efficiently. So what are some fixes? First: 1. Reduce flinch on snipers 2. Increase ammo on spawn (by one if it has to be) 3. Allow snipers to be more viable in mid-long range areas.
