Why does literally every quest for a decent gun involve torturing yourself with pvp? There are many players out there that completely hate the crucible and avoid it at all costs, so why force us into it? Step out of this bubble Bungie, it hurts a large portion of players

All these people think they know everything, i wasnt even talking about The Trash Word 😂. Pay attention to what youre reading, freaking tards
-
Last word is a PvP weapon case closed
-
1 ReplyEvery quest for a gun ties to its lore. Last word and ace of spades are PvP guns. Malfeasance is a gambit gun. If you think a bit before you type you can also figure this out.
-
That’s literally the easiest PvP step there’s ever been on a quest, TLW is made for pvp
-
Not all quests should be easy, Did a few hard tasks stop Frodo & Sam from reaching & completing their quest to Mt. Doom? No, no it didn't.
-
Edited by Stromite: 2/1/2019 12:58:08 PMThey force you into PvP because only a very small number of players enter it voluntarily, and the Hardcore need numbers to farm.

3 RepliesBesides the shotguns and hand cannons aswell as 1 hit kill abilities why do people hate the crucible i genuinely dont get it
-
23 RepliesBecause PvP is also part of the game? What about PvPers who are forced into PvE? Don't like it when it is the other way around. It is also a PvP gun so it should require PvP. Another point is that PvE is tremendously easy. You can't make a quest stupid easy.
-
U mean torture with pve. How many time do I have to do the forge. I deleted this game. I'm not gonna do forges for 3 months straight.
-
Not saying that exotic quests must have pvp, but lore and actual usefulness of The Last Word are centered on pvp. The gun is garbage in pve. There is no question. So for most who don't like pvp or aren't good at pvp, the gun will be useless anyway. Bungie is trying to give players a hint as to who will like the exotic. I would be way more frustrated to do 2 hours of pve content and find that the gun is focused on pvp than to do 2 hours of pve content and an hour of pvp and find that the gun is pvp focused

3 RepliesI'm lucky. My son loves pvp, so he does anything I don't want to. In exchange, I do some of his weeklies because his xbox time is limited..... By me. Muah hahaha.😂
-
3 RepliesIf you think that’s torture, I’m doing the Malfeasance Quest Solo trying to get Gambit wins but atm I’ve been taught the Definition Of Insanity from Vaas
-
Get farmed
-
Gee, I got the exotic sniper rifle that can body shot an opponent from a quest that did not require any crucible, but I guess that is not a decent gun. Got a Sleeper Simulant that did not require any crucible, but I guess that sucks too. That Thunderlord, wait, it's garbage as well. So what's your point?
-
I recall only 4 exotics that require PvP...
-
32 RepliesTorture? So playing a max of 5 matches is torture? How are people so bad that they can’t get st least above a .51kd per match? I don’t understand it. People don’t have any strategy they just let the team mow them down then complain... I just don’t see how you can’t get 1 kill every 2 deaths or 2 assists per life...

1 ReplyEdited by Ogma: Destroyer of Worlds: 1/31/2019 1:07:57 AMThe problem with specific weapon “quests” in general is that they don’t offer either/or options. It’s always so rigid and restricting. The game has a little of everything and they don’t use that. They unnecessarily dictate every little aspect about what and how people play, as if everyone likes everything. This game is in desperate need of options.
-
1 ReplyBecause the game is not only PVE players.
-
Hubris is a terrible word but it seem to fit at the moment. It really hard to see why there is so much resistance to options which exclude PvP. The Black Armoury was a great way to have introduced fully controlled weapon modding and would have kept every body occupied as all the options were tried but no that would have involved handing over control to the players. We also have to go through two more power increases before then end of the year and I am sure we are all going to enjoy the grind just to stay relevant

3 RepliesJust take out the dying penalty and I’m good.
-
You aren't forced to do anything. You bought a game with full knowledge that it's a PvP and Pve game. Get over it
-
Lol I knew you kids like to exaggerate for attention but do you even know what you are saying? There are only like four exotic quests that require crucible and they are among the best exotics for pvp.
-
6 RepliesOP: wants TLW and to Avoid Crucible “at all costs” Swipes Left
-
2 RepliesPolaris Lance, Sleeper Simulant, Thunderlord, Izanagi's Burden, Rat King, Sturm, Mida Multi-Tool, Worldline Zero, Legend of Acrius, Those are the good quest exotics that don't require pvp (that I can think of)
-
Only 4 guns require pvp only 4 there all pvp guns except ace but let's be real it's for pvp
-
Maybe when they introduce a "pvp" specific weapon they should introduce a "pve" weapon alongside it. Maybe in the next part of the pass they will. Maybe a gun like Necrocasm.
