Well done Bungie, make a quest available to everyone but forget that you have players/customers who don't do pvp.
Loss mechanics just ruin the quest, done around 20 matches and went from 16% to 0% within 4. I have no problem with grinding for the kills but that loss mechanic just ruins the quest

But Last Word is a purely pvp gun. Why do you want it if you don’t play pvp?
But Last Word is a purely pvp gun.

purely pvp gun

purely
You keep using that word. No, it's not "purely" an anything gun. It can be used in PvE, Gambit, and Crucible.

I said that word once and it was show the main use of the gun for everybody. Nobody is going to use this in pve over top tier pve weapons. I’m only bringing up this point because of people who main pve that are complaining that this quest for a pvp oriented weapon involves pvp.
-
Just because the gun is catered to PVP players doesn’t mean it can’t be used in PVE, so this nonsense about it being a PVP only weapon is just that, nonsense.
-
The gun since D1 has been known to be a pvp weapon. It is far more useful in pvp then it is in pve. The whole hype behind it returning it was so that its going to be another top pvp weapon. So how is this nonsense? People are complaining about laughable pvp quest steps for a pvp oriented gun.

The only time loss mechanics are ever involved in anything in the game is for PVP. As I said before, it doesn’t matter what the gun is catered toward, it is not exclusively a PVP weapon. The Crucible is not a level playing for all players, so loss mechanics for quests are stupid.
