Let me know what changes to Nova Warp and other Warlock supers/abilities you would like to see in the future. I'll pass your feedback along to the team.

  • Vortex is also the PvE version for loads of damage on a boss....1 vortex nova did half the health of the ogre in shattered throne. Cataclysm is the PvP choice.

  • Hunters. Nightstalker shadow shot needs to suppress on contact and kill non supers on contact. Spectral blade is fine don’t nerf it anymore. Golden gun buff was nice, good job. Blade barrage nerf not so much. Change the impact damage back but keep the self damage. Still needs that risk. Arcstrider idk. Give it blink like old blade dancer? I don’t really use this class so I won’t speak on it.

  • Give nova warp it’s duration back. 6.8 second reduction on top of it being slower and using more energy to charge and hold the charge is too much. Give back the 6.8 seconds and half the nerf to its speed and energy consumption. Make Nova bombs travel faster, both of them. Also the time it takes to charge nades in the chaos and hunger trees takes too long compared to handheld supernova. Bring them inline with supernova. Tickle fingers, aka stormcaller, needs a flat out damage buff. Doesn’t matter that you can now tickle 1 extra person now if you’re still only tickling them. 3 second buff to dawnblade is laughable. Up that. Icarus dash needs a shorter cool down as well. I’ll post about the other classes separately.

  • Hey Cozmo, Thanks for commenting on this post to let the warlocks know your listening. As for feedback on NW, imo the loss of time was too much. Slowing down the movement during a charge up, making charges cost more super, and dmg and range nerf were good ideas to bring it in line with other supers. But also nerfing the time has hurt this super for PvE and now make it inadequate in PvP against other supers. Hopefully a quick solution can return this super back to be on parwith others. As a warlock main since I first played D1, it is hard to see my class not compete well against others in mayhem. Ik it was way too strong, but please ask the team if they will consider giving back some the warlocks mojo. Much love, Coolmax

  • Fat Slow Nova Bomb still sucks. I watched my NB make a 180 degree turn tracking on a hunter and the hunter still out ran it. Warlocks are simply terrible in PVP.

Every class---especially Hunters----have a counter to everything that Warlocks can do....but Warlocks have been stripped of a reply to any of the special abilities of the other classes. Once again, Warlocks have been busted down to a glorified support class in PVP.

    Bring back vortex mastery, make it extend grenade effects and give it intrinsic Enhanced Ashes to Assets. Fix blink. Bring it back to how it was in vanilla D1. Right now we have literally NO reason to use it, and warlocks already have garbage jumps to begin with.

    The list. I think if we want to see change we need to collectively unify the changes we want and bring them forward. This will make our requests easier to hear and consider. ( I could go into exotics but I wont and will keep it strictly supers and abilities) Restore our melee speed to the same as all other classes. If you did shadow nerf devour then put it back to full health and let is grant small super energy with each kill as well. Give all Warlock classes blink however buff blink to make it good. (Slide shot guns are already a cancer and restoring a buffed blink for one class wont make it worse.) it'll just place us on closer footing to hunters who at the press of one button can hop upwards vertically in an instant. This is where they get their main advantages in PVP. Giving us a strong blink would give us something to work with. (A Blink with an after glide option could be worth you guys thinking about) Make Nova Vortex at least do the same tic damage as sunspots. 50 per tic rather than our 23. Faster rift animation and healing activation time should be instant even if on critical health. Buff Nova warp to current spectral blades and Arc slam Titan leathality. (you know the one that gets health and extended super energy with every kill) Buff Nova Bomb to current blade barrage leathality by adding shatter or lance with D1 velocity + double blast radius. Buff Icarus dash distance and reduce cool down. Grant 100% in air accuracy when using top tree Dawnblade. Either make Phoenix Dive good already or scrap it all together and give us something decent. Stop wasting our slot with fusion grenades and give us something worth using. (Fire stream grenade) Like lightning and void spike grenade but with fire. Increase blast radius on swords for Dawnblade. Would be cool to have a block option or melee option when in Dawn Blade super. Reduce amount of super energy used when Icarus dashing during super. Let storm caller consume grenade to grant a personal arc soul. Reduce ionic blink energy cost. Actually make the "Extended melee range" on top and bottom tree storm noticeable. In terms of roaming supers I think this pretty much covers it. If you have things I have missed please let me know and I will add them to the list as long as they are fair and not op. We don't want to be stronger than everyone else, just on a similar level.

    High priority: -Give stormtrance more maneuverability/mobility in super. -Semi-restore Nova Warp. We all know it was OP, this is too much. Reduce charge cost slightly (it’s somewhat justifiable to increase it as was done, but this is harsh), Give back some damage resistance (a single shotgun melee will kill you right now, I believe). Bump damage back up slightly, and restore 1.67 seconds of time. This results in an overall 2 second decrease, lower overall damage output, but allows us a shot at staying alive long enough to use it. Make teleports energy free too! MOVING should not cost SUPER energy. Especially considering if you have blink as your jump it’s free anyways. -Nova Bomb. I literally don’t even know what to say. It has never been a good super except those few weeks it was broken in Mayhem awhile ago. It can be shattered by Golden Gun and Blade Barrage (yet surely they have enough extra shots to kill YOU) and can’t kill Hunters or Titans using Way of the Current or Code of the Commander, respectively in their defense action. It also usually blows up in your face or misses everyone entirely. LowER priority: -Give Chaos Reach a better view, it’s so hard to see what you’re hitting sometimes. -Give Well of Radiance SOME SORT OF USE in Crucible. -Please let Dawnblade sword impacts do explosive damage like Hammers for Titans for one tree at least, maybe the one without tracking?

  • I stand corrected on Nova Bomb. I used it a lot today in Mayhem while grinding Resets. It can keep up with Blade Barrage to a degree. It’s still not as idiot proof though.

  • Give all warlock classes blink and buff it so it's on par as much as possible as hunter jump in terms of its responsiveness and weapon usability, ready and radar.

    Remove Attunement of Fisson from the game. At this point you have destroyed it. It is terrible in both PvP and PvE. You made no adjustments to increase the damage substantially for PvE to at least make it marginally competent for clearing mobs in PvE. Actually, consider removing Voidwalker from the game entirely considering there is no viable super for PvP in the entire subclass, either. You could have decreased the activation time of Nova Bomb to at least made it competent in shutting down supers. That also did not happen. Nerfed out of PvP entirely, the entire Voidwalker subclass. Bungie needs to bring in outside help for balancing PvP. Warlocks are down to 1 out of 9 supers being PvP viable, bottom tree Dawnblade. I guess I already know what you'll destroy next. Like some others here, I've been a Voidwalker main since the very beginning of D1, including through the lengthy span of dominance of the class by Sunsingers. Voidwalker in its current state is worse than any time in D1. I'd rather see it removed from the game than be in this state scraping the bottom of the barrel.

Bungie just stubbornly refuses to accept this. So they keep trying to hammer a square peg into a round hole....and keep making a mess of it.

    Second, remove void walker from the game. D1 voidwalker. Remove it from d2! I refuse to play this garbage you left me with. Nothing ever felt better than arcing across the sky in D1, my arm engulfed in arcane void energy, whispering dark secrets to me... holding, holding, holding until the voice in the void spoke NOW. And a perfect shatterclysm of doom rained upon my enemies. That was voidwalker D1. D2? ...Maybe I'm a hunter main?
