The issue behind relegating it behind some BS pvp numbers is the problem. Quite simply the person wants there to be an actual quest with various steps (maybe find the frame, then piece it together from different activities) not kill (x) amount of people then get (c) amount of revenge medals.
“Quests” like these are unimaginative and make this game stagnant.

What happened to the ingenuity behind Gjallerhorn from ROI? That quest was awesome

Clearly Bungie is a shell of itself creatively. I’ve played regularly for almost 5 years, now I’m not even motivated to log in. The lack of creativity has killed this game.

Yes but the git gud posse does not see this perspective. They come out and bungie boot lick and praise them for great work, thats why we get less imaginative things like black armory

BA wasn’t “unimaginative” it was tedious sure, but it was decent at the very least. It’s sad that PvP is so broken currently with all of its issues that you would force people into crapfest. I would’ve like to seen something akin to the whisper quest line. That would’ve been something I think a large portion of the remaining playerbase would’ve liked.

Black Armory is a horrible concept its like CoO and EP mashed into a bounty full mistake. How many guns came in with the BA that were not year 1 reboots? RNGjesus struck again don't worry you can grind the same forge 25 times maybe you will get the blast furnace that your hoping for. Sorry but to me the BA was about as engaging as alphabetizing a bag of M&M's

Your opinion and I respect that. I enjoyed doing the actual forges. It was a good break from everything else. The “quests” were akin to TLW thing now, which I did not like. However once I opened the forge I had my fun. I prefer small horde based “kill everything that moves” from time to time. I don’t care about gear that’s earned from it honestly, it’s all meh. The fact that you can’t “create” something takes away from the forge concept and still relies on rng. For the raid and arena based combat are the only reasons I said it was decent, then again those are things I like.

See I don't care for SOTP either to me it reminded me of EOW swap space/ring jumping for sparrow run. I am happy Anthem is coming. I played the VIP demo and despite the issues that game had over the weekend I liked it. Looking forward to this weekend. I am ready to move on from Destiny. I feel like Bungie does not give 2 shits about their player base, if they did they would correct alot of the mistakes people are talking about. As for questlines I can give 2 shits about the last word is sucked in D1 anyways. It would just be nice if Bungie would allow players the path to be chosen for questlines. Example I don't have breakneck or Lunas or redrix or not forgotten or mountain whatever becausevI don't care for pvp or gambit. Would I like an alternate path to take that doesn't require me grinding my whatever rating to 5500 sure that would make this game way more engaging in my opinion, but Bungie is content in continuing to do things their way because it works right?

Edited by Hu Shot Yu: 1/29/2019 11:21:46 PMI agree Anthem was enjoyable once it was running “properly”. Before I commit to the game though, I want to see how the “fixes” go that they said they’re implementing for the open demo. If it still has the 96% bug and/or the login loop the game may be in trouble.
